I don't know if you've taken this into account for your trial posts, but if the prosecution requested Kevin's/the house's phone record that day they could found out he called Wymack before the police. And that could not look Good especially with his deadpan 911 call
i had thought about this and i donât think iâm going to mention it but itâs SUCH a striking point i actually love it. i wasnât going to bring it up purely because iâm not putting kevin on the stand, but itâs such a good reason as to why i could put him on the stand. like perfect kevin day trying to explain why heâd seen a dead body and called wymack before anything else? and how that phone call went as well? what if they played it?
-
âTake a breath and spit it out, kid.â Wymackâs voice is getting more and more strained with every second that passes and Kevin just can't get the words dislodged from his throat. How could he, when all he could smell was blood, and alcohol, when all he could hear was Andrewâs voice in his head saying tell me again how I'm too unbalanced to understand normal brotherly affection and love.
âSomething happened.â Kevin tries not to watch as Nickyâs parents pass him, faces pale and hands shaking. He canât hold himself together, when he opens his mouth to explain, all that falls out is a muted sob accompanied by, âOh, fuck, Coach, itâs really fucking bad.â
Kevin winced as he heard Nicky start to sob somewhere upstairs, and David must have heard it too, because his voice was much more serious when he asked, "Who's hurt?"
It's the perfect question, almost, but that doesn't make it easier to answer.
"Andrew."
âHow hurt are we talking?â
âI donât know.â Kevinâs chest is getting tight. Not right now. Not now. He takes in a shaky deep breath, as much air as he can muster. He continues, âSomebodyâs dead.â
âFuck, Kevin, whoâs fucking dead?â He sounds angry. No, heâs worried, heâs terrified. Which one of my foxes is it?
âI donât know.â He repeats. He watches as Nickyâs parent fuss over something in the kitchen. âI don't know, I donât know.â
âDead, how?â David says, before he says something, presumably to Abby. Kevin's breath comes in and out of his lungs in painful, jagged intervals. This is too much, he can't do this, he can't do this. âKevin, I need you to talk to me.â
âAaron.â He cant say the words. âSomebody was- oh my god.â He feels his chest tighten, and tighten, and tighten. A twisting stomach accompanied by a pounding chest and fuck, the smell of blood, and alcohol, and-
âBreathe.â David says again, like itâs really that simple. âYou have to tell me whatâs going on so I can help you, kid.â
âCall Betsy.â Itâs the only thing he can think to say. But when he thinks of Bee, he thinks of Andrew, he thinks of the body lying upstairs. He thinks of- âI donât know what to do, David.â
Thereâs a moment of silence, and David is forced to listen to Kevinâs quiet hyperventilating. âIs Aaron dead?â
Kevin almost laughs. âNo.â
Wymack's sigh is gentle, but louder than anything else, the sound weighing on Kevin's shoulders like the secret he felt like he was keeping, the secret he felt like he couldn't share. It's not exasperation, no, his annoyance is not directed at Kevin's panic or inability to find the words. It's worry, it's fear, it's being too used to those kinds of phone calls. It's too soon after Allison's Seth is dead, Coach, and I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
âIs Andrew? Is Neil?â
âNo.â He says. The words are right there, he tries to swallow them down hard, but they keep getting stuck in his throat. Just say it. Just say it.
"Nicky?" He's getting impatient. But Kevin knows it's not directed at him. It can't be. "Work with me, Kev. Just say it."
"Andrew's been...r-" The tears that threaten to spill out swell in his eyes, the tightness at the back of his throat manifesting in a sigh, an exhale of breath that he had been holding for far too long. Kevin shut his eyes so he couldn't look at Nicky's parents, and following a deep breath that he hoped would fix everything, he says, "Andrew's been raped, and Aaron killed the guy that did it."
The silence that follows goes on for hours, for far too long. For long enough that Kevin has to check that David hasn't hung up on him, for long enough that he starts to think about it all, all over again.
"Jesus Christ, Kevin." is all that David can muster, in this voice Kevin has only heard once before, as he sat sobbing in his hotel room with no plan and no reason to live. He stumbles through a hundred different questions until he lands on, "Have you called the cops yet?"
"No." Kevin admits with a guttural sob. He hasn't even thought about it. Well, he did, in some way, but his fingers hadn't even hesitated over David's contact number. It hurts so badly, all of these feelings, the image of Andrew, the image of Andrew, the image of Andrew. His protector. The person who kept him safe. This was never supposed to happen to him. This can't have happened. Not to him.
"Jesus fucking Christ, kid, get off the fucking phone," David's yell snaps him out of it. "Get it together, take a real deep breath, and call 911. Then call me back afterwards. Fuck, Kevin."
"Okay, Coach." Kevin says, as seriously as he can manage. Call 911 - An order, something to follow. Something to do. Something to be good at, to pretend for, a reason to shove his panic behind a plastic mask for a couple of minutes.
"Okay." Coach agrees and lets out another deep, hurt sigh. Another second or two pass, but Kevin feels frozen in place. The phone is stuck to his ear, the electronic hum and buzz the only thing keeping him from going back to the reality of Nicky's parent's house.
"Are you okay?" Coach asks, and Kevin shuts his eyes to inhale, before exhaling out anything that hurts. He's switched off, untouchable, numb and unfeeling. Kevin isn't there, inside of himself anymore. He can come back later.
"No," Kevin says, but it doesn't feel like the truth anymore, his voice flat, the back of his free hand wiping away a tear that had found its way out of his eyes. "But I'll call you back."
"Okay," Coach says again. "You better."
The phone call ends with three consecutive beeps. Kevin pulls it away from his ear, and stares for too long at the 911 he's typed into the keypad.
Do what you have to do.
Be who they need you to be.
"Hello, 911, what's your emergency?"

not about love: part three âĄ
ŕłâ⡠read part one | part two | part four
pairing: college loser!ellie williams x fem!reader
synopsis: you go to a frat party, ellie is a dumbass.
warnings: heavy sexual themes, alcohol, weed, JEALOUSY (both ellie and reader but reader goes through it)
You stirred from your nap, your eyelids fluttering open as you gradually became aware of your surroundings. It was hot, too hot, and the AC wasnât working. Neither was the fan. So much for one of the âBest colleges in the world!â as they liked to boast on their little website page. A faint buzz emanated from your phone.
You groaned. Dina's persistence was relentless, and she refused to accept no for an answer. The thought of going to a Kappa party was one thing. Sweaty bodies, lame college boys who thought they were hot shit because their daddy was the CEO of toaster strudel or whatever, cheap liquor that burned inside the pits of your stomach even three days after the party was overâŚ
That was the least of your problems.
The problem was, you guessed it â Ellie.
Wherever Jesse and Dina went, Ellie was always there, tagging along like a lost little puppy. They never turned her away; they actually seemed to enjoy her company. And who could blame them? Ellie had a wicked sense of humor, and some might even say she had a sweet side. Plus, she always had a fat joint tucked away in her pocket, ready to be shared. The thing was, Dina and Jesse were a fucking couple, and Ellie somehow managed to squeeze herself into their most intimate moments too.
You asked Dina about it once, and she just shrugged â âSheâs a little lonely sometimes, so why not?â
Dina was right. Ellie was⌠a little lonely. When she wasnât with you, shed lock herself inside her dorm room (which she thankfully shared with no one), solemnly strung on her guitar, broody and quiet. Sheâd blast metal when she was upset, and draw till her arm hurt. It was âby choiceâ she always told, shrugging off your attempts to convince her to socialize, enjoy the college life, have some fun. She wanted to tell you that you were enough. That she didnât need those random hookups, that parties were the last thing that interested her, when you were around. Her cheeks would blush a soft, dusty pink whenever she entertained the thought of confessing her feelings to you. The uncertainty of your response weighed on her mind like a pesky little irritant. What would you think then?
None of it mattered, anyways, because you and Ellie hadnât talked in a week. That was the longest time without contact since 10th grade. Granted, you did fight that Christmas night, just a year ago â but you never went completely cold. Not like this. Ever since that day in her room, something shifted. You saw her in the cafeteria, Sitting alone with white string earphones in her ears, she bopped her head to the rhythmic tunes of Bob Dylan. Pretending not to see you, she shifted her gaze towards the window, fixating on the birds' nest nestled within the tree nearby.
She thought you knew.
She thought her secret was out.
âYouâre notâ Was the last thing that left her mouth that day.
Ellie was delusional, Because you didnât fucking know.
âI cant see her EVER againâ she scribbled in her journal with dark ink, pressing down on the pen until her thumb turned white.
When NASA released the stunning images of millions of galaxies, your thoughts inevitably gravitated towards her. She was a constant presence in your mind, after all. You sent her a message, a sweet one. âthought of uâ it said, with a picture attached.
It was radio silence. No response, no call, nothing. Cold.
This is why you didnât want to go to the party today. And maybe, this is why you did go â regardless. Stand up to her, ask her what was wrong. Did you do something? did you hurt her feelings? did you finally fucking break her?
It was 9PM, and there you stood, butt naked, facing your closet.
âfuck you Dinaâ you whispered sotto voce, as the weight of blame rested squarely on her shoulders. Sheâs the reason youâre here, your mind completely blank, staring at a pile of unfolded clothes, Your makeup sprawled open on the table, the powders and the colors creating an accidental artwork. You had a half empty bottle of boxed wine in your hand. Definitely Dinaâs fault.
âNothing!" you exclaimed, flinging a delicate light pink tank-top onto the floor in frustration. âTo fucking wear!â you groaned, tossing a black pair of jeans of across the room. It was your turn to throw a tantrum now.
You dialed Dina on the phone, more than ready to complain to her over your lack of clothes, her stupid kappa party, maybe even over the pumping headache you had three days ago, maybe that was her fault too.
She picked up.
âHeyyyy prettyâ Her words slurred, and the scent of vodka almost wafted through the screen. Oh god, she was drunk already. Just great.
âYou pregamed without me?!â You yelled, perplexed.
âWhâ I called you like five times! So did Jesse, you didnt pick up the phoneeeeâ
âPick up the phoneeeeeâ you heard Jesse mock Dina, his laughter echoing in the background.
âFine, whatever. I have nothing to wear, Iâm gonna look like shit, my ass hurts because I slipped AND I think this white wineâs poisoned. Plus I need something that makes my tits look good and all i haveââ
You grabbed a crumpled white corset top from the floor, its fabric wrinkled from being discarded.
âIs a stupid corset! and you still didnât give me back my dress!â You whined, pacing around the room, still naked, still chugging on some âpoisonousâ white wine.
âYouâre on speaker, babeâ
âI dont care. Hey Jesse, you sound wasted tooâ You tried on the white corset, surprised at how good it fit around your body. Huh. Maybe you didnât need to iron clothes like, ever.
âHeyyyyâ his voice came through muffled, mixed with fits of laughter as Dina had apparently spilled vodka on herself.
âD, Iâm sending you a picture of my fit, I have no pants on so donât save it, weirdoâ
She coughed.
âOn speakerâ she repeated.
âJesse doesnât careâ You rolled your eyes, as you struggled to zip the corset top up.
âEllieâs hereâ
Oh.
âOhâ you froze. Of course sheâs here.
âSayâ Dina's voice descended to a hushed tone, as if her words were no longer intended for your ears.
âSay hiâ it was quiet, but you could hear.
"I don'tâ" Ellie's voice emerged, subdued and suppressed, barely audible.
Dina shoved the phone to Ellieâs hand.
âHeyâ
You gazed at your complexion, transfixed as if you were trapped in a moment suspended in time.
âHiâ you quietly said.
âOkayâ whatever you two have going on⌠figure it out, be there in twenty. And send me that pic!â
Dina hung up.
Be there in twenty. Okay, you got this. You looked at yourself in the mirror, half naked, your hair a mess, your heart beating out of your chest. Maybe you donât got this.
Frantically, you swiftly gathered yourself. You hastily slid into a sleek black skirt, styled your hair, generously applied a thick layer of lip gloss, and quickly slipped into the tallest heels you could lay your hands on.
âSkirts too longâ you whispered to yourself.
It wasnât too long, the plush of your ass was almost peaking out of it.
It was borderline comedic, how you fast you shifted when you heard her voice. How quickly you went from not giving a shit, whining quietly about the sweaty bodies youâre going to bump into, and the thick smell of cigarette smoke and cheap alcohol you were going to have to breathe through, to caring so heavily, and so deeply, about something completely different. You put the shiniest pair of hoop earrings you could find in your drawer, spritzed a thick layer of sweet, vanilla and almonds perfume, and took another glance in the mirror.
This is how she was going to see you. Sheâll smell your perfume, you were sure of it. ďżźPerhaps sheâd even glance at your legs if she got close. you see, Ellie had a habit of⌠looking up and down. She thought she was sleek, she thought she knew what she was doing. She thought she was hiding it, and hiding it well, but she never did. You always noticed how her eyes would flicker up and down, how a rosy pink would grace her cheeks.
This isnât about Ellie, though â right?
There was a loud thud that echoed across the room, originating from the big window above your bed.
Dina and Jesse were here. Oh, and her.
âfuckfuckfuckâ you frantically whispered to yourself as you went to grab your purse. You glanced at your reflection again. You looked good, and you knew it. Hell â everyone would know it, but not everyone mattered.
You took a deep breath, and with that, you were out of your room.
Click-clackâthe sound of your high heels grazing the ground filled the air.
âoh shââ
you almost slipped.
Right as you exited the building, your eyes landed on them.
Three, slightly inhibited, babbling adults standing besides each other.
You moved closer, the sparkling keychain attached to your purse swaying and jingling with every contact against your figure, a touch of girlish charm to your stride.
âHoly shittttâ Dina gasped, her eyes widening in awe.
You didnât even glace at Ellie. Non existent.
âJesseâ she nudged his arm. âIâm leaving you for a girlâ
She wrapped you in a tight embrace, her sweet but subtly spicy perfume filling your nostrils. The moment your eyes met hers, any lingering anger you had towards her completely melted away. The Dina effect.
âYou look so hotâ she teased, flashing you a sly smile.
âHey idiotâ Jesse chimed in, embracing you tightly, looking dapper with a tight, black t-shirt adorning his body.
âLook at those musclesâ you said, punching his arm lightly.
And there she was.
a black leather jacket, a white button-up shirt with the top buttons left undone, a tight pair of jeans and her trusty old Chuckâs.
She dressed up. She never dresses up.
Her eyes were glued to the ground. What was she hyper-focusing on now? The ant crawling on the ground? a dry, crumpled leaf? Perhaps on your high heels, and the thought of you keeping them on while your legs are resting on her shoulders?
Her throat closed up at the thought.
âHeyâ she said, her voice low.
You could tell she had been drinking, based on the dazed look she had on her face. Maybe she smoked some too.
âHiâ you said, and flashed her a small, awkward smile.
âStart walking idiotsâ Dina exclaimed, and grabbed your hand in her palm.
The walk to the party was not quiet. It was anything but. Filled with aimless giggles, and Jesse almost walking in to a pole. Ellie dragged by quietly, chuckling to herself at a funny anecdote someone had made. She never was quite like this. Of course, she was broody, some would say somber, but she was not a âquietâ person. Not when she was with her friends. Tonight was different. Tonight, Ellie had something else in mind. The way you swayed side to side, giggling loudly and boasting into a Britney melody made her heart swell in her chest. She couldnât stop replaying the events of that day in her mind. The way she got close, the way you whispered that you werenât like Dina and Jesse, and the way she agreed. The way she had never come so hard in her life, with her hand between her thighs and her phone in her hand.
Tonight was going to be fucking difficult.
You finally arrived to the party.
As anticipated, the scene unfolded before youâ a pulsating mass of sweaty bodies, shirtless college guys, and scantily clad girls grinding against each other, moving rhythmically to the beats of a 2013 Jason Derulo song.
âShots?â Dina questioned, her eyes scanning the crowded house.
âShotsâ you responded, a slight panicked look on your face.
âSure, yeahâ Ellie quietly said, her hands stuffed inside her pockets.
Dina was out of your sight at the speed of light.
You were left alone with her.
It was suddenly harder to breathe, and it wasnât the lack of oxygen from the dozens of people breathing it in.
âSoâŚâ you said, trying to be as loud as you could â so she could hear you, amidst the loud music and the occasional screams.
She was standing in front of you. God, was she beautiful. She didnât even try, was the frustrating part. The way her hair rested half down, the rest of it tied in a bun, the way a small strand of hair framed her face â she was flawless. Her freckled cheeks were glowing, a red hue caressing them, and as her hand came to scratch her face, presumably a nervous reaction, it flexed slightly. You always stared. Just like she stared at your tits â you always stared at her hands. It was a silent agreement, tit for tat.
âSo many peopleâ you chuckled.
âListen, I-â
âTequila for youâ Dinaâs voice startled you from behind, making you flinch.
âAnd⌠a shot of whiskey for the ladyâ She handed Ellie the short glass.
â3, 2ââ
It was warm inside your throat, and it slid so uncomfortably, you had have a reaction. Your face twitched, tongue peeking out of your mouth.
Ellie couldn't help but crack a smile, stifling the urge to burst into laughter.
Ellie never made a face when she drank. Swallow it in, Joel taught her. Hold your breath â and let it slide.
âEVERYBODY!â
the loud voice of a college frat-boy echoed through the room. Did he have a fucking microphone?
âSPIN THE BOTTLE IN KEVINâS ROOM TO THE LEFT!â
You rolled your eyes.
âWhat are we, thirteen?â you sighed.
âNoâŚâ Dina responded, her gaze shifting between you and Ellie.
âBut you need to get someâ she nudged your arm.
âAnd so do youâ She whispered to Ellie.
Ellie could feel her heart beat fasten up. Funnily enough, it wasnât because she was embarrassed to play. It wasnât because she cared about it, or wanted to âget someâ â It was the thought of you. The thought of you, getting some. How could Dina even dare to suggest such a thing? Of course, Dina didnât know about Ellieâs⌠situation. Still, how could she say that? How could she endure the thought of you with somebody else? What if you end up meeting somebody? What if you, god forbid, end up kissing somebody? Ellie felt it in her stomach. It was that same rage she felt when you had your first girlfriend, Emily, in 10th grade. When she caught you kissing behind the bleachers. She remembers how her mind went blank for a second, fully white. A moment after, she saw red. She punched a fucking wall, and promised herself that if she ever gets the chance â the actual chance, sheâd beat Emily up so bad it would leave her bleeding. Of course, she never got the fucking chance. Emily was nice to Ellie, hell, Emily loved Ellie, and Ellie never had the guts to do it, so she punched her pillow instead, every goddamn night.
âLetâs go, câmonâ Dina exclaimed, taking hold of both your hands and skillfully maneuvering through the bustling crowd.
â
At first, the bottle landed on a sweet cheerleader named Amy, and a dumb jock named Steve.
âI dare you to make out shirtless in front of everybodyâ Kyle, a blond frat guy said, gaining himself a couple of âOoooâ sounds from the people gathered around the room.
âItâs not truth or dare Kyleââ A loud voice popped off from the background.
âMy house, my rulesâ He shrugged as he responded.
âI should be paid to watch thisâ You said in a whiny, slightly bitchy tone, Ellie and Dina chuckled in response.
They went at it, shirtless and sloppy. Tongues clashing in an unsynchronized dance, slurping each other up like animals.
âOkay, okay â next roundâ Kyle exclaimed, burping into the mic.
âEwâ you gagged.
The bottle spun.
You were standing besides Ellie, her shoe nudging yours. At one point, she accidentally touched your thigh, followed by a breathy âShit â sorryâ.
There was absolutely no way it would spin pointing at her, and then point at you. But she fucking hoped. Maybe, if it was a dare, shed have the balls to do it. Maybe sheâd be too embarrassed to say no in front of all these people, who might think she was even a bigger weirdo for turning a game down, so sheâd have to kiss you. Maybe her lips could touch yours like she desperately desired. Maybe shed manage to put her hands on your waist, and hold you still. Maybe youâll feel it, finally, and give into her.
Slip a tongue in, who knows?
It landed on her.
âFuckâ she hissed under her breath.
âOhâ Kyle said into the mic.
âWho are you?â
âEllieâ she said quietly, internally punching herself in the gut.
âCant hearâ
She cleared her throat, feeling her face heat up.
âEllieâ she said, louder.
You felt your throat close up. This canât possibly be happening. Dina was ecstatic.
âOkay⌠Ellie, never seen you around here⌠Spinâ
âI donâtââ she quietly said, looking at you from the corner of her eye.
Something was wrong. Your body tensed up.
âCmon, Elâ Dina nudged her arm.
She spun the bottle, the sound of the glass grazing the floor filling up the room.
It landed on a ginger named Alison. You recognized her from one of your classes. Alison was a nice girl, popular, but kept to herself. She was pretty, a sweet pair of big brown eyes, and a cleavage that left no room for the imagination. Alison smirked at Ellie, tilting her head.
You werenât exactly a firm believer, but you prayed to god louder than anyone has ever did.
Please donât kiss. Please donât kiss.
âEllie⌠Alison⌠Who else thinks those names go fucking along?â Kyle exclaimed into the mic.
The crowd whood, the crowd of people cheering this⌠Obscenity â as youâd call it.
Ellie shifted uncomfortably, digging her short fingernails into her palms.
You lifted your chin up. Shit.
âEllie and Alison,â Kyle whispered dramatically.
âKiss.â
Dina squeezed your hand.
âEllies gonna get someâŚâ She melodically hummed in your ear.
Your face twitched.
âAlison â take your shirt off. Ellie, gotta give us a showâ
Ellie went bright red. She didnât want to do this. She didnât want to fucking do this. It buzzed in her ears, echoing inside her brain.
It was almost as if a comically bright light bulb appeared on top of her head.
What if this was payback.
She could never have you, couldnât she?
What if this one hurt.
What if you realized.
Ellie didnât dare to look at you, but she felt it. She felt you shift, she felt the harsh breath that escaped your mouth.
Alison crawled closer. So did Ellie. Her shoe grazed your knee as she moved.
You swallowed deeply.
Alisonâs eyes twinkled amidst the dim lights.
Ellie felt her toes curl inside her Chuckâs. Her breathing got heavier, and her heartbeat fastened up. It wasnât because of Alison, or Andrea, whatever her name was. It was beating because you were watching.
Alison initiated it. It was a small peck, at first.
Your hand was trembling.
âGo Ellie!â Dina cheered.
Ellie took it as a green light.
She parted her lips slowly, and sucked Alison in for a kiss. A hungry one, slow and steady, a wet tongue slipping in, gently swirling inside the shirtless gingerâs mouth. When Alison whimpered silently, Ellie brought her hand up to squeeze her breast. The crowd was cheering her on.
You felt like a monster took over your body. Your throat closed up, eyes growing moist. Oh shit. You were about to fucking cry.
Ellie grabbed Alisonâs neck, and held her firmly.
It felt like it was going on for hours.
And then it stopped. Alison was panting, and Ellie was too.
There it was. The first tear that crawled down your right cheek.
âIâm going to the bathroomâ you whispered to Dina.
Ellie looked across her shoulder.
You werenât there anymore.
âWhereâd she go?â She wiped her wet mouth on a black leather covered shoulder.
âBathroomâ Dina said, absentmindedly with a smile.
âFuckâ

Another Headache
SUMMARY: You get another one of your chronic headaches, and the meds don't don't work. Soap's by your side though.
PAIRING: Soap x F!Reader (Soap calls Reader "pretty girl" once, that's the only mark of gender)
TAGS: Hurt/Comfort, fluff, suggestive at the end, Soft!Soap, Established relationship, Civilian!Reader, Reader works as Price's assistant.
WARNINGS: The suggestiveness at the end, mention of chronic pain.
WORDS COUNT: 1.8k
A/N: Lots of Soaps I like in there... pouting Soap, drawing Soap, needy Soap, Human calculator Soap (because of that one post that I KNOW I REBLOGGED BUT CANT FIND!! CURSE U TUMBLR!)
â1245.87⌠minus 56.43⌠divided by 98.62âŚ.â you mumble out loud to yourself, painstakingly inputting each digit into your calculator.
â12.06,â pipes up Soap without missing a beat, not looking up from his sketchbook where he's drawing.
You look up from the device and throw him a mildly annoyed glare, assuming he concocted a random number to confuse you. It's the first explanation that comes to your mind, the most logical one, even though it would be out of character for Johnny to make your work harder, even as a joke.Â
âVery funny.â
Then you press the result touch and your eyes widen as the machine provides the exact same answer.
âHow in the hellâŚ?â
You look at your boyfriend again, irritation gone out the window, replaced by amazement and a dash of admiration.
âDo you have a calculator for brain or something?â
âS'basic stuffs for sniping and demolition works.âÂ
The explanation is way too abrupt for anyone who knows how much Johnny enjoys his job, rambling, and rambling about his job. You raise an inquisitive eyebrow.
âCan you develop?â
An amused smirk stretches his lips as he still persists in not looking at you.
âBonnie, ye need tae focus oan yer work, or ye'll git us in trouble.â
You groan in protest. Being lectured about trouble by Soap âTroublemakerâ Mactavish out of all people, you couldnât make it up. That doesn't make him less right unfortunately.Â
Your supervisor, John Price, only allowed his Sergeant to hang out in your office during his free time on the express condition that it would not impact your tasks. You initially couldnât imagine that blue-eyed menace sitting still for hours only for your sake; to do your own thing in your own side of the room in silence, without any physical contact, nor any other sign of acknowledgement? That was Ghost's idea of a good time, but Soap's idea of torture.
However, it turned out you underestimated his willpower, and his determination to take advantage of every moment that could be shared with you. The intimate knowledge that he was holding back this whole time, and that the minute the clock would strike the end of your workday, he would be all over you like usual, warmed your heart and sent pleasing tingles everywhere in your body.
Sympathetic to your plight, Johnny adds with indulgence and cheekiness in his tone:Â
âAh ken how much ye like mah voice, but we'll make up fur lost time after.â
You roll your eyes at the suggestive taunt, still recognizing the comment for what it is - a consolation to compensate for his refusal to extend earlier. You bite your tongue to keep yourself from retorting about how distracting he's actually being even when drawing in silence, his biceps bulging with his posture, and the mix of concentration and serenity on his face strangely captivating.Â
The expression he wears when sketching is one you're particularly fond of. It reveals a different kind of intensity than the one he usually displays, when eager for battle or indignant in front of injustice. It is one not many are privy to, since he tends to favor the solitude of his bedroom to scribble, making this scene all the more special and giving it an intimate tone that's enough to make your heart race.
A loving smile on your face, you throw yourself into your work.
You can feel it coming from miles away.
That accursed headache. Pushing behind your forehead, between your eyebrows and sneaking behind your temples.
Its reasons could very well be everything or nothing; the mix of cold weather and your own tiredness, the acute light from the winter sun blinding your eyes in the absence of sunglasses, the long hours spent in front of a screen.
It is light yet harsh all at once. Muffled pain always felt worse than a sharp one. Yet you know from experience it is only going to hurt more from here on.
Gritting your teeth in a grimace of discomfort, you press your hand against your forehead. The coolness of your fingers provides a respite, albeit a short-term one.
Is there even any painkillers left in your bag? You canât remember the state of your stock-
A familiar box is suddenly moved in your line of sight. Your usual brand of aspirin.
You look up to see Soap staring at you expectingly. You take the medecine with a grateful smile.
âYou really are full of surprises today!â
He pouts as he hands you your water bottle.
âWiâ how often ye git those bloody things, a'd have tae be a bloody eejit for nae knowing how tae deal with âem.â
He sounds like your chronic migraines offended him, personally, and it's both adorable and hilarious.
âThat's still very sweet,â you insist after swallowing the treatment.
He brings a lock of hair behind your ear before tenderly kissing your forehead.
âThat's me, âSweet Soapâ Mactavish.â
That drags a giggle out of you.
An hour later, as the meds miserably failed, youâre not laughing at all anymore.
At least your work is done for the day, granting you the luxury to suffer on the rec room's couch. Laying on your back, head on the armrest, youâre pressing the heels of your hands into your closed eyelids while groaning in agony. Any bright light or screen increases the pain, so keeping your eyes closed is the only protection conceivable.
Seated right by you, your legs laying over his lap, Soap squeezes your tigh in support, itching to bring you relief but unsure how.
âWhat can I do?â
You remove your hands from your face to peek at him. If the ache behind your temples wasnât occupying all space in your thoughts, you would have fussed over his chagrined expression that wasnât without reminding you of a worried puppy. He was torn between concern for you and frustration of not being able to do anything. Johnny absolutely hated not being capable of remedying a problem. It made you want to cover his face in kisses, not only to placate his frustration, but also because you were filled with cute aggression.
âWell, I have this theory that if someone hit me really hard in the head with a baseball bat, it would helpâŚâ
âHow the bloody âell would it help!?â
âThe pain from the blow would replace the headache.â
âHow does replacing pain with pain helpsâŚ?â
âI prefer the acute pain of a strike than the dull one of a headache. It's way more bearable.â
âM not hitting you with a baseball bat,â he exclaimed, clearly convinced that the pain had made you go insane.
âI'll just ask Simon instead.â
At this point, youâre insisting more to rile him up rather than out of seriousness.
âNae yer not,â he retorts vehemently, voice bordering on a growl.
You're about to laugh when he suddenly gets up, still taking care to not send your legs flying off the sofa. Worried that you managed to actually piss him off, you half pick yourself up, raising on your forearms, but he exits the room before you can catch his expression, ordering you to not go anywhere. Not like you were planning to anyway.
You flop back on the couch, closing your eyes and massaging your temples. A moment later, deliciously cold fingers rest on your forehead. You hum in appreciation.
âBetter?â
âI love you,â you declare boldly.
The husky laughter Soap emits in response is almost as soothing as his touch.
You suddenly open your eyes as a realization dawns on you.
âJohnny, why are your hands fucking freezing?â
âPut âem under cold water,â he retorts casually, like it was evident.
You sigh, closing your eyelids, endeared by his behavior but also a bit fed up.
âYou're crazy.â
He chuckles again.
âCrazy in love maybe.â
You don't need to look at him to know the smug smirk he's displaying with that comment.
âWipe that goofy smile off your face, Mactavish.â
âMake me.â
You playfully slap whatever part of his body is nearby, then sigh once more.
âIt's only a temporary solution, though. Unless you intend to spend all night turning your hands into ice cubes.â
âAh could try-â
âJohnny, no.â
âJohnny, yes.â
âDon't be silly.â
âWill have tae be, unless ye've got a better option.â
âLaying in the dark with a wet cloth could help⌠or at least it's supposed to.â
This is how you ended up in Soap's bedroom with the lights off, both of you laying on his bed, you nuzzled on his torso with his arm around your waist, a washcloth soaked with freezing water on your forehead.
âIs it working?â he asks, barely a few minutes after settling down.
You cannot contain a smile at the impatience in his voice.
âMore or less. But what sucks the most with this method is.. â
âAye?â
âI'm so freaking bored. Cannot read, cannot use my phone, cannot fall asleep either. And with no distraction, I cannot focus on anything but the pain.â
âAh could distract ye... If ye wanted.â he immediately suggests.
âWhat are you thinking of, pretty boy? Surely nothing⌠inappropriate.â
Despite your playful words, your fingers start idly running down his chest, and the shiver that travels his skin in response doesn't leave you indifferent. You hear him suck in a breath, and he grasps your wandering hand only to press it flat against his pectoral, even raising his breast to deepen the contact. Meanwhile the hand holding you tightens its grip on your flesh before traveling lower to grab your ass.Â
âNow that yer mentioning it, ah read online that it could help wiâ headachesâŚâ
âThat what could help, Johnny?â
âAn orgasm, bonnie,â he rasps.
You let out an amused sigh at the bold statement, trying to hide how much effect the rasp of his voice has on you.
âHear me oot-â he pleads, apparently worried that youâre taking him for a perverted loser obsessed with his own pleasure over your comfort. âA'm not bullshitting ye-â
âI know, baby,â you appease him. âI know about the orgasm being a thing.â
âYe know?... wait, ye knew this whole time? Why didnât ye say anythinâ?â
âLet's just say I'm skeptical of that method.â
âDid ye already try it?â
âNope. But I'll believe it when I see it.â
âThen let me make ye a believer, pretty girl. Please? Pretty please? Will make ye feel so, so good, promise. Lemme take away yer pain, hen.â
He punctuates his begging by burning kisses, on your temple, your cheek, your jaw, your neck. His fingers sneak under your shirt, tickling your waist. The neediness in his voice and his touch makes you whine his name helplessly.
âJohnnyâŚâ
He echoes your whimper with a moan of your name.
âAlright, alright,â you capitulate. âFor the sake of experimentation.â

bestfriend!perv!anton x fem!reader â nsfw ; wc : 700 â short one-shot mdni!
Anton knows he's wrong, it may not seem like it but he does. He also knows he cant help the way he thinks of you. You're his bestfriend, so obviously it's occurred to him that thinking about you in the way that he does, is very clearly wrong. But to him that's also part of the fun. And you don't know, which just turns him on even more. You would never guess that shy & sweet Anton Lee, fantasizes about fucking you at the dead of night. You would never guess he thinks about you in the shower, or when he's watching porn, or every time he closes his eyes. and thats exciting to him. But he's also not much of a risk taker, unless he's extremely desperate.
Anton tosses and turns in his bed, struggling to fall asleep. You wore a skirt today and of course he struggled to keep his dick down every time he looked at you. And oh did he look a lot. He noticed the way your skirt wasn't long enough to cover your thighs, and how badly he wanted to bend you over the first surface he could find. The thought of you was keeping him up, quite literally. He was supposed to be sleeping, but between his thoughts and his boner, he was having too much trouble doing so. So he lowered his pants, freed his cock from his boxers and tried fixing his problem. His hand started pumping his cock, but he knew this wasn't gonna be enough. So he imagined that instead of his hand wrapped around his cock, it was your cunt, and you had that same exact skirt on. But for some reason, unlike most days, it wasn't getting him anywhere. He would normally just drop it and go to sleep if it wasn't working out, but his hard on was becoming too painful to just drop. He reached that level of desperation where he was willing to take a risk. Would it really be so bad of him to call you like this? Just so he could hear your voice? He concluded that as long as you didn't find out, it wouldn't. So using his other hand, he grabbed his phone and went to your contact before calling you. To his surprise, you actually answered. "Anton?" You called out to him sleepily, "It's 3 in the morning, is everything alright?" "Y-yea," he held down a groan, "Yea sorry, couldn't sleep. Thought maybe you were up." He tightens the grip on his cock, he already felt so much closer to release upon hearing you. "Oh," You paused, "Do you want me to talk to you or someth-" "Yes, p-please," He interrupted you with a whine. "Alright." He heard you shuffle in your bed, assuming you were getting into a comfier position before you started talking about something he wasn't fully listening to. He just needed to hear your voice without actually paying attention to the contents of the conversation. The longer you talked, the faster his hand sped up. Knowing there was a possibility you could hear every little thing he was doing on the other line, only made him want to cum more. He choked down his moans as he got closer to his release, the sound of your voice filling his head. "Shi-shit." He softly moaned as cum shot out of his cock and onto his stomach. His head ringing as he slowly came back to the reality that he was still on a call with you. The call was still going, but it was only silence from your end. Did he not realize you stopped talking? "Anton?" You say his name softly and he curses under his breath, thinking he was caught. "Are you okay?" "Oh yeah sorry, just saw the time. It's super late, I think I should go to bed now." He quietly lied, hoping you'd believe it. "Okay," You agreed before speaking again, "Call me if you ever need help with that again." You joked before hanging up, leaving Anton in the silence of his room. He looked at the cum on his hand and stomach, he might be just a little fucked up.
im a lover of perv!anton and needed to write about him immedeatly. this is my second writing woohoo! - đ

Sirius Black - Time in a Bottle

His occasional hums were the only sound breaking the silence of the cottage. Her cheek resting on the bare skin of his chest, legs entangled with each other, body covered only by the thin layer of bedsheets. If either of them could find a spell to freeze time in a bottle, this would certainly be the moment they'll capture.
"Humour me," Sirius says, his fingers now travels through the strands of her hair "If we managed to get out of this war, alive and unscathed, what would you do first?"
"If?" She lets out a breathy chuckle "That doesn't sound optimistic."
"Yes, well, I'm trying to be realistic."
"Realistic? Sirius Black being realistic?" She asks, looking up and raising an eyebrow at him "Who are you and what have you done to my boyfriend, Stranger?"
The boy rolled his eyes, "Just answer the question."
"Let's see," She says with a long sigh, her smile never leaving her lips "The first thing I'd do when we win the war would be.."
Sirius waited. He stares into her eyes, trying to see if there's anything she secretly wishes yet couldn't find the words to utter. He watches as her brows furrow and relax. She's certainly trying to work the gears in her head to find an answer.
And then it dawned in him. Like an episode playing in the back of his mind, replaying all of his favourite moments with her and all the things he's loved about her. He could hear her voice when she first called his name back in second year. He could see her smile when he first won the Quidditch cup. He could feel the weight of her fingers around his when he first held her hand. All of them replaying and flooding his senses like a tidal wave.
The thumping in his chest quickens. He begins to wonder about all the future possibilities for the two of them. He wonders what kind of a house would they be moving into. He wonders what kind of dress would she wear on their wedding day. He wonders how many children they would have and if they would have his eye colour or hers.
"Marry me."
His question snaps them both, blinking as he tries to process how his mouth ran faster than his brain, just as always. Sirius could see the surprise on her face as the smile on her face dilutes into an uncertain one. His mouth feels dry all of a sudden. An unexplainable lump forming on his throat and he struggles to followup with any kind of explanation to his sudden outburst.
A hesitant smile tugs on the corner of her lips, "Marry you?"
"If you'd like." He says, voice filled with uncertainty "I mean, if you couldn't find anything to do first after the war, that could be a suggestion."
"Actually, I've thought of something."
"Yeah?"
"Mhm," She nods, moving to now lay on top of him "I was thinking of going back to this cottage and redoing all the things we did tonight, as if we never left this place."
Sirius grins as he rests his hands on the sides of her waist, "That sounds nice."
"It is," She nods once again "But marrying you sounds a little bit better, I would say."
"Just a little bit?"
"Just a little bit," She coos, kissing the tip of his nose "This place is a bit hard to top, I am very fond of tonight."
"Me too," He smiles "So is that a yes then?"
She raised an eyebrow, "I didn't hear any question I should be saying a yes to."
Sirius' grin goes even wider that it practically hurts his cheeks but his heart was full. He's never felt any more loved than now and he sure would never want to risk losing this. Whatever storm they might need to weather in the future, knowing that marrying her would be the first thing they'd do once the sun comes back up, would forever be enough for Sirius to give the day another chance.
"My Darling, Sweetheart," he calls endearingly, tucking the few strands of her hair behind her ear "Would you marry me?"

The new fic was wonderful, I cant get enough of Em and Max I hope you never stop writing about them! That being said, I'm curious, would you write about one (or all four!) Times Max had to run around a city looking for Emelia?
Okay Iâm sorry about how this turned out 𫣠I know in the fic it referenced that Max didnât know there was a problem and only found out once she left but I am taking some artistic license with this being one of the four times! Donât hate me đŤ
I did actually start a different one featuring Emiliaâs dad so I may finish that one and we will get a funnier/more on brand instance of Emilia running away butâŚI hope you enjoy this one in the meantime!
â¨Set in September 2021â¨
They nicknamed her âThe Bolterâ
Max watches the sunrise in total, deafening silence. He thinks at some point he gets up to feed the cats. He thinks, but he isnât sure. Heâs so tired. His eyes are watering. Itâs not tears. He canât sleep. He wants to. He doesnât want to. It doesnât matter if he wants to, he canât. He canât sleep knowing youâre not home. He canât sleep not knowing youâre safe.
He looks at his phone again. He has it on loud and on vibrate but he still checks. Still hopes.
Daniel: Did you hear from her?
Lando: Sheâs not answering me sorry
Clara Albizzi: You fucked up
That last one makes me feel sick. He did fuck up. He knew the second heâd said it. The way your face just fell and you couldnât look at him. The way your shoulders hunched over.
Youâre the reason sheâs not here!
You hadnât even packed a bag. Hadnât even taken keys for a car. Youâd just picked up the shoes that were lying in the hallway and left.
And heâd let you.
It had taken everything in him to stand still and let you leave, even as the fear set in. Fear that smelled like freshly cut grass and petrol. Fear that felt like crisp night air. Fear that looked like headlights in the dark.
The restraint had only last a few minutes.
You had blocked him, of course. So heâd called your friends. Heâd ended up calling half of Monaco including more drivers than he ever spoke to regularly. Everyone denied hearing from you. Heâd actually driven to Danielâs to confirm his story that he wasnât home. Max wondered more than once if youâd earned more loyalty from his colleagues than he had. Even if one of them was lying to him, at least you were safe.
But he couldnât take the chance that you really hadnât ended up at someoneâs place. You didnât have you bag with you, or even comfortable shoes. You couldnât pay for a cab. It was that thought that had sent him to the Hotel de Paris. It was your favourite hotel in town, you even checked in for staycations sometimes. They would have your information, so you wouldnât even need a credit card. The receptionist had refused to tell him if you were staying there - illegal, apparently - but something about his appearance must have incurred her sympathy, because sheâd said that they hadnât had any unexpected guests.
That had sent him to Sass CafĂŠ. A long shot, because you didnât usually self medicate alone, but heâd tried anyway. Fifty times he thought heâd seen you across the room as heâd weaved his way through the hoards of people. Normally he could spot you anywhere but when all he wanted was to see you heâd seen you everywhere.
By the time heâd got home, some time in the wee hours, Max could feel himself starting to shut down. As heâd called your name to no response and checked your room to find it empty, he could feel himself starting to get cold. Heâd sat down on the couch, intending to think about what he was going to do next, but the thoughts had started to get away from him. The memories of the last twelve hours began to fold in on themselves, becoming smaller and squarer and so too did the feelings. The anger, the frustration, the panic, the disappointment, it all got more manageable, packing itself away in the corner in his mind that Max had so often found himself hiding in.
Even the fear had gone. The fear had gone somewhere around 5.30 am, when the darkness started to wane. As he sat on the couch and watched the sky go from black to blue to the colour of the dress you wore to Lukaâs christening, his leg stopped shaking, his fists unclenched, and the tightness in his chest disappeared.
Finally, emotions had given way to a familiar and encompassing emptiness. Max just felt numb.
Youâre the reason sheâs not here!
What had he even been so angry about? He could almost laugh at himself. He hadnât been angry. Heâd been embarrassed. Youâd told him youâd found underwear that wasnât yours in the washing machine and heâd been so fucking embarrassed. And then heâd thought, what did he have to embarrassed about, and he decided in a split second it must be because you were judging him, and who were you to judge him when you were the reason he was fucking random girls in the first place. His relationship had ended because of you.
Youâre the reason sheâs not here!
Except you werenât the reason. Not really. It had been Maxâs choice and he knew that. Max needed you more than heâd wanted her and he had never once regretted that choice, although wherever you were, you probably thought he did.
He almost wishes he could feel all of it. Whatever it is thatâs been forced under the surface because he canât deal with it. He canât feel anything. His eyes are sore and unfocused and they sting.
He drags a hand over his face. He should do something. Get flowers, or call the police, orâŚanything. But he doesnât. His limbs donât move. He just sits thereâŚlike heâs waiting for someone to pick him up.
Youâve got to come back.
Donât worry, Max. They always come back. Youâll apologise. Youâll do better next time.
His eyes water again. This time it might be tears.
Somewhere behind him, one of the cats meows. Maybe he didnât feed them after all.
âMax?â
At the sound of your voice, Maxâs head turns so fast his neck hurts. He blinks furiously at the sight of you. For a second he thinks heâs imagining you.
âI brought strudel,â you say, holding up a small folded pastry box.
Max gets up before his he tells himself to. He wants to pull you into his arms, the urge to do it is the only thing heâs felt in hours, but stays still. Youâre back, but that doesnât mean heâs forgiven.
âIâve been looking for you everywhere,â he says. His voice sounds hoarse.
âNot everywhere, clearly,â you say with a shrug.
âI went to Sass, Danielâs, I called Lando, Alex, Clara, Zita,â he says, as if trying to prove that heâd tried. âI went to the hotel to see if you were there. Iâve been around the whole city all night, I didnât sleep,â
âOh.â
You look a little sheepish, almost guilty, as you make your way to the kitchen. Max follows, too far behind for his liking but heâs still too scared to get closer.
He sits on one side of the island and you stand on the other. He really takes in your appearance now. Hair up, no make up. Wearing a pyjama shirt. Where the fuck did you get pyjamas? He doesnât care. His eyes run over you one more time. He might never let you out of his sight again.
âDonât scare me like that,â Max admonishes, though there is no strength behind his words.
âDonât piss me off like that,â you retort, and thereâs strength behind yours.
The look you give him cuts like second place, and he looks away. He looks out to the balcony. The sky is cobalt now. What time is it?
âDid you mean it?â You whisper into the silence.
Max looks at you now. âNo.â
âBut-â
âNo.â This time itâs an oath.
You shake your head as you open the pastry box. âMax, you obviously kind of meant it,â you say, turning to pick up two plates from the counter. âAnd I donât blame you. I know Iâm the reason you and-â
âYouâre not the reason,â Max insists. âSheâs the reason. She thoughtâŚshe made that choice. And yeah, a part of me is still angry about it, and I cannot talk to her so I took it out on you. That wasnât right and Iâm sorry. I donât know why I even- Iâm sorry. It was my fault,â
Take responsibility. Itâs your fault. You caused this to happen. If you donât like the outcome then stop making people angry.
âIâm sorry,â he says again, quieter this time. Even to his own ear it sounds a little more desperate.
You stare at him, eyes narrow, like youâre trying to read him, and Max almost flinches under the scrutiny. Finally, your face softens, and you sigh. Something in your posture eases.
âMax, itâs okay,â you say gently. âPeople fight. I just felt like shit and you know how I get. Youâre fight, Iâm flight, remember? I wasâŚanyway, it doesnât matter. Weâre okay, right?â
âYeah,â Max says. âOf course.â
You donât look like you believe him, but heâs telling the truth. If youâre okay, then heâs okay. If youâre there, then heâs okay. If youâre home then thatâs where he wants to be.
You shuffle around the island with two plates of strudel, padding on bare feet towards the living room with Max in hot pursuit.
âWhere did you go?â He asks, now noticing that not even your shorts are the ones you left in last night.
âThe Maybourne,â you explain, settling on the corner of the couch, legs outstretched. âThe concierge gave me some spa pjs,â
Max takes a seat next to you, further than normal but closer than heâs been to you in what feels like forever.
âIâll pay you back for the room,â he says with a rueful smile.
âYeah, I think you will,â you say haughtily, and Max forced himself to laugh. There must be something in his expression that tips you off, though, because your face falls. âIâm sorry I left,â
Please donât ever do that again.
The words are on the tip of his tongue but he swallows them. He doesnât ask. He canât. He has no right to ask you that, because no one can ever promise not to leave and he canât promise to be worth staying for.
âItâs not the first time,â Max says with a chuckle, nudging you with his elbow. âIâm used to it by now,â
You roll your eyes and turn on the tv, flipping through to find the Moto GP race as Max yawns. The buzz he felt at your return is wearing off and the exhaustion is creeping up on him. He doesnât want to sleep yet, though. Not when youâre still in his periphery. Itâs stupid, but some part of him needs to be consciously in your presence for a while.
âMax, you can go to bed, if you want. I know you didnât sleep,â
âNo,â he says, a bit too quickly. He imagines that he blushes when you notice. His cheeks certainly burn. âIâm justâŚ.Iâm fine here.â
You reach over to pick up a pillow and lay it on your lap. âAt least lie down,â you say, patting the pillow like you do to get one of the cats to sit on you. Max hesitates, but only for a moment, because heâd do just about anything you told him right now.
He settles his head on the pillow, eyes fixed on the tv. He used to do this with his mum, he remembers. The first night joke after being with his dad for months, sheâd put on a movie and Max would lay his head in her lap while they watched. He doesnât think heâs ever told you that.
Your hand running through his hair is like a little jolt of energy, somewhere above him he hears you giggle at the shiver that goes through him. You donât stop, though, finger massaging his scalp. It quiets all of his nerve endings.
âYou need a haircut,â you tell him. He knows what youâre doing, but he canât bring himself to care. As long as itâs you doing it.
âYeah,â Max agrees. Itâs the last thing he says before he finally falls asleep.

[Rebekah]: Caro, you must know that turning off shared location is a declaration of war
[Caroline]: Excuse you, you could at least do me the courtesy of hiding your stalker tendencies. How often are you checking up on me, darling Bekah?
[Caroline]: Actually, have you considered seeking professional help? The instant communication of this day and age is an anxiety-inducing scourge, and you need not be a hero in managing the niceties alone.
[Rebekah]: âŚ
[Rebekah]: âŚ
Rebekah calling
Without even waiting to be greeted, Rebekahâs voice seethed through the phone. âI donât know what makes me angrier: that Caroline is unwise enough to be spending the night at your flat or that you somehow filched her phoneâs passcode. I donât even know it!â
Kol chuckled to himself, settling himself back into the armchair where heâd been peacefully flitting through Carolineâs Instagram feed. âTo be fair, dear sister, I didnât bother with the code. Facial recognition is far easier, especially when our Caro is blissfully asleep in Nikâs bed.â
âThere are so many things wrong with you,â Rebekah groaned. But she paused, the silence between them growing thoughtful. âDid they at least hash things out? This will they/wonât they has been exhausting, and Iâll officially grant my blessing if they mean it this time.â
âBy the unsubtle threats to my person should I return home last night, my guess is efforts have been made. They were dressed this morning, though, both wearing Nikâs clothes.â
âSo many things wrong with you.â Another pause, but her voice soon grew wistfulâwell, as wistful as an annoyed Rebekah could be. âThey better be happy after all the suffering Iâve gone through over them.â
A laugh burst out of Kol. âHow magnanimous, Bekah.â As the sounds of stirring caught his attention, his smile only grew. âWould you like me to pass along your well wishes to the happy couple?â
Nikâs head popped up from the pillow, the tousled mess of his hair ruining the deathly glare he shot Kolâs way. âWhat the hell are you doing in my room?â
âFunny, Rebekah was just asking the same of Caroline. Caro, care to comment?â
A middle finger emerged from the nest of blankets and blonde curls, but the way Nikâs face softened as she shuffled against him was sickeningly precious. Unrepentant, Kol lifted the phone to take a picture of the scene. âHere, Bekah, Iâm sending proof of life.â For good measure, he also made the photo Carolineâs lock screen.
âGet out!â
Snickering, Kol ducked out of Carolineâs swing as he made his way to the kitchen, her phone still pressed to his ear. âSatisfied?â
Rebekahâs voice sounded pinched with good-natured disgust. âGod, their wedding photos are going to be gorgeous. Stop causing trouble and leave them to it.â
âYouâre no fun, sister.â His head canted to the side as he filled the kettle, figuring he could at least make coffee for the lovebirds. âDoes that mean you donât want me to turn her location back on for you?â The answering silence was damning and delightful. âEnjoy your day, Bekah,â Kol teased lowly, nevertheless flipping to the settings. Whatâs a little mischief among family?
Thanks for the inspiration, @thetourguidebarbie!

Moth To A Flame | Konig NSFW Pt. 2
It had been a week since Konig had been over. Your boyfriend, completely oblivious to what happened, remained the same loving, caring man. But you couldn't look at him the same. Not when Konig's cum filled you up. " my love, I have a meeting today so ill be home around 10:30. then we can watch that movie too were going on and on about." he spoke from your shared bathroom. as much as you did want to see that movie, you couldn't think about it. you were worried about getting pregnant, like Konig actually said he'd do. "love?" he called out, this time standing in front of you.
"s-sorry. yea we can do that." you smiled, looking up from your phone. he hummed and fixed his tie, still eying you. "you've been very tense recently. are you okay? I can pick you up some tea." he said, a look of worry on his face. it broke your heart. how he was always so worried about you even when he didnt really need to be. it made the realization that you didnt love him as much as he loved you hit you hard. "im okay I just need to get some sleep. call me when you on your way home." you said, pulling the blanket up to cover you.
he sighed before turning away. "okay then. ill still get you some anyways." he said, grabbing his keys and phone. "I love you." he said, walking over and placing a kiss on your forehead, cheek and finally your lips. "I love you too.."
hours had gone by since your boyfriend left. and the whole time all you could think about was Konig. so much so, that you fell and called him. "hello libeling.. ive been waiting for your call." his strong accent and calm voice made you clench around nothing. " Konig im worried about.. about actually getting pregnant. I already feel bad for cheating on him I cant get pregnant with a baby that isn't his either." He was silent on the other end. Until you called his name again. " Its nit cheating if you've been with me this whole time maus.." he said, and you heard him shift on what you think is his bed.
Konig, undoubtably, was crazy. And you knew that. From the second he heard about you getting with another man, he called you. Telling you to leave him willingly, or he'd go there and take you. and although you knew he wouldn't really do it, there was always something in the back of your mind that said he might. " Konig im being serious. if I do end up getting pregnant, ill abort it. ill never speak to you again ill move ill do anything-" "your won't. you know you cant keep yourself away from me libeling." on the other end you heard more shifting, like a belt. silence filled the call until you heard him spit. " just thinking about you getting all fat with my kids maus.. fuck it makes me so hard. to think that were going to live together in a nice house.. fuck.. your tits all swollen." his breathing on the other end grew harder. " thinking about killing your little friend over there.. no no. after you give birth. ill make him.. fucking watch you birth my baby." faint flapping noises could be hear, occasional whimpers from him. quiet, but desperate ones.
you hated him. how even when he wasn't there with you, he could fuck up your relationship so bad. but most of all, you hated how wet you got when he told you these things. "Konig please.." he stopped from the other end.
then
hung up.
you called him 3 times. 4 times. 5 times. no response. by the time you had given up a knock came to your door. you knew it was him. and you knew that answering was not the right answer. but oh how you wanted him. "hi maus." he smirked, looking down at you.
||
"thats it libeling.. geh weiter.. fuck geh weiter"
his hands gripped your hips, helping you move up and down on him. your head was on his shoulder, tears brimming your eyes as you were working on your third orgasm. In 15 minuets. " k-koni fuck it feels so good." you whimpered, your hands gripping his biceps for support. one hand moved from your thigh down to your clit. "I know Schätzchen.. your doing so fucking good.. taking me like this. I bet you wanna get pregnant huh. you wanna-fuck- wanna have my fucking baby." he gave a thrust from below you, hitting your cervix. as much as it hurt, you could stop your body from slamming down on him, wanting to feel it again.
" your mine maus.. mine. he's gonna walk in and see me fucking this pretty little pussy.. and hell start crying." he whispered, leaning to your ear. "hell cry and a-ask you why are you doing this." his other hand moved to your throat, looking at your wet face and plump lips. "and your gonna t-tell him" his hips thrusted up into you again, a groan slipping past his lips. "you'll tell him because you belong to me.. and only me."
his hips moved up into yours fast, keeping his eyes on your face. all of what he said, it made you clench around him more. the more his tip hit into you, the harder you felt your orgasm coming onto you. "come on libeling. paint me with all your cum.. j-just like im gonna.. fuck.. paint your insides with mine."
just as you felt yourself about to cum, you heard your boyfriend car pull up. your face turned pale and you tried to stop. but Konig chuckled, sliding out. "oh is that him?" he pouted, turning you on your stomach, pulling your hips up. "y-yes Konig we have to stop. you need to go now please." tears of anxiety and guilt left your eyes now, not ones of pleasure. but he didnt care. in fact, it made him harder.
"your gonna look as he walks in maus.. your gonna watch his face drop.." he slid in, a groan leaving him. then. he went back to abusing your still soaked cunt. "your gonna watch him as you cum all over me. and your gonna watch him-mmmh~ as I fill you will all. my. cum."
your boyfriends humming got louder and louder, and soon the keys began to jingle. and as scared as you were, Konig's abuse on your g spot made it hard for you to hold in all your moans.
the door opened, your boyfriend stepping inside. the first thing he saw wasn't you. getting fucked on the couch. he dropped everything, his eyes slowly moving to Konig. " im almost done." Konig said, a breathy chuckle leaving him. Konig's hand wrapped around your throat, his eyes locking onto yours. "im cumming maus.." he whispered, his hips jolting forward, pulling all the way back and slamming right back in.
tears flowed from your eyes, your airways closing up. "come on libeling.. cum for me. then it can all be done with.." he whispered, looking over to your boyfriend. tears were falling from his own, his body still frozen in shock.
Konig gave you a few more sloppy but powerful thrusts before finishing, strained groans leaving him as he gripped you closer, and harder. you couldn't stop yourself from also cumming, trying your hardest not to make it noticeable. but you couldn't help it. your body shook, small whimpers leaving your plump lips.
Konig sighed above you, kissing your cheek. he pulled out, watching your boyfriend. "she's all yours." Konig said, pulling up his pants that pooled at his ankled, grabbing his keys and making his way past your boyfriend and out the door, leaving you on the couch dripping both tears and cum.
it was silent. until you moved to sit up. "do I need to call the cops?" he spoke finally. you turned to him. "w-what?" he moved over to you, until he was right in front of you. "he broke in huh. he-he forced you." he said, his voice strained, a vein popping on the side of his neck. you looked away. he sat beside you, taking your hand.
" i didnt.. you dont need to call the cops." you said, wiping your eyes. "we need to move. i.. I love you. and whatever comes out of this we can deal with together. but im not leaving you and you aren't leaving me." he said, his hand tightening around you. you looked at him, confused on what he meant. you couldn't tell if he kn ew you cheated or if he still thought Konig forced you.
"Ill look for apartments in New York. well move there. I have connections from work there. its the perfect place. and far from here." he said, standing. he grabbed a blanket off the floor and gave it to you. you couldn't speak. at all. you were still shocked and confused. " but if you do get pregnant.."
you looked up at him.
" were gonna kill it. I refuse to let you have a baby that isn't mine."

omg i cant get the thought of price having a teenager niece that lives with him when hes home.
like the kid lives with her grandparents most of the time because of prices deployments. maybe she has messed with wrong coping mechanisms like weed and alcohol. but when john noticed he helped her get back on track and compleat school well and lessen the common dumb shit she dose.
SOMEONE GIVE THIS MAN KIDS!!!!!
Kids - John Price
Warnings: None, fluff, Drugs/Alcohol, Abusive household mentions?
So anon you're so right. JOHN PRICE IS A GOOD FATHER!!!
Price had gotten home from a deployment and wanted to unwind and relax but when he walked in and saw his niece and mother sitting on the couch, he audibly sighed and rolled his eyes.Â
âCanât you just look after her for a month or two? You know how your sister struggles with drugs..â He sighed and looked at her and frowned. âAlright, fine. Tell Savanah Iâm never doing this again though, whenever rehab lets her call.â His mother gave him a hug and nodded as she said goodbye to her granddaughter. Price put down his bag in the hallway and then gave his niece a tour.
âAlright so this will be your room, bland I know but Iâm thinkin an Ikea trip and a couple of other stores?â âYES! Youâre the best Uncle John.â She smiled as she placed her bag down and jumped onto the bed relaxing and pulling her phone out to call her friends. Price smiled only a little as he shut the door on his way out.Â
Now it had been months since he got home so he definitely had some food shopping to do, and he realized he had no idea about what his own niece likes. He walked up the stairs to her room and knocked on the door.
âCOME IN!â He walked in and saw her on her phone still, but this time on the phone with a couple of her friends. âHey kid, Iâm going to the foodstore. Here's my number to text me what snacks, lunch, breakfast, dinner I need to stock up.â âOkay!â He nodded and walked out and got his shoes and keys.Â
He ended up coming back home with bags on bags of food, he sighed when he saw the long ass list he had to buy for her, but he had no problem as long as she was happy. He then placed bags down on the counter and started to unpack everything.
His niece came downstairs and sat at the kitchen island and watched him unpack things while scrolling on her phone, he broke the silence. âSo, what grade are you in now?â â9th I just turned 15.â âJesus, you are getting old. The last time I saw you, you were like 4.â âItâs been that long?â âYeah kiddo time goes fast doesnât it?â He spoke softly as he started packing things into the pantry and fridge.
âUncle John you know youâre gonna have me longer than 2 months right..â John rolled his eyes and chuckled, âI assumed I was, you got school still or summer break?â âBreak is just ending so I go back on Monday.â He nodded, and he asked for the address so he could see how far of a walk it was or if he needed to drive her. He ended up letting her decide to walk there when it was warm or hot out and if it was cold heâd drive her.
Now it has been a couple of months since sheâs moved in, around 5. She decorated her room and Price got her a new phone and TV just because it made her happy. At this point he considered that kid his own. So when she came home drunk, he wasnât too shocked, just a little worried.
âIâm gonna throw up-â âYouâre over the toilet seat so go ahead Iâll hold your hair, Iâm right here.â She then proceeded to throw up her guts into that toilet. And when she was done he carried her to bed and tucked her in, laying a towel on the floor and a bowl next to her just in case.
âYouâre not mad right?â âNo, we've all been teenagers once. But we are talking when you sober up.â She nodded and dozed off to sleep as Price got a phone call, it was her mother and he answered. âOh hey JohnâŚâ âHello to you too. Iâve got your kid in case you care.â He scoffed at his phone and went out back to smoke while on the phone as his niece rested. âWell thatâs actually what Iâm calling about, you seeâŚIâm as you can tell an extremely unfit mother. And uhm, you seem like a fit parent, so Iâm taking it to court, Iâm giving up my custody rights to you.â John nearly died, he wasnât ready for this responsibility heâd have to quit his job unless someone watched her-. âWhat? Savannah you canât just do that sheâs your child plus I have a JOB. Who the hell would watch her?â âOur mother and father offered. Plus we have another sister who said sheâs willing to.âÂ
John shook his head and sighed. âYouâre awful Savannah, I wouldâve fought you in court anyways this whole situation is fucked sheâs 15. Do you even know anything about her life besides her name?â âIâll miss my Autumn forever.â âYouâre not even her mother to her, let me know the court dates Iâll be there. Bye.â John then hung up the phone and put out his cigarette and then he saw Autumn sitting on the couch waiting for him.
âHow long have you been sitting there?â âLong enough to know youâre going to court, whatâd you do?â John sighed and checked to see if she was a little more sober now and it seemed like she was so he dumped it all on her as best as he could. She did cry but she was so grateful that John would be her legal guardian, heâs been more of a parent then her actual parents.
Now itâs been around 8 months, John got custody and her mother was back in rehab. John was being deployed in a month so he was preparing the house for his mother to come stay at. âDo you haveee to go?â âDepends, you want a PS5 right?â âYes..â âThen Iâll be back in 3 months.â She giggled at his joke and she went to go grab a snack, as she heard a knock on the door and opened it she noticed 3 very tall men.
âHey uhm-I donât think-UNCLE JOHN!!â All the three men looked at her confusion as John ran to the door to greet them. âAh sorry, this is my niece Autumn, but Iâd call her my daughter.â Autumn held out her hand shyly as she looked at all three of them as they all walked in and sat on the couch, she sat at the kitchen Island as John kept cleaning she got to know them.
âSo youâre all in the military? But only Simon covers his face?â Simon smiled and responded âRight.â âSo youâre an oddball?â âBE NICE.â She heard John yell. âI AM DAD-â John smiled to himself and noticed how she called him dad, heâs never felt so proud of himself before.

ŕłââˇ: summary: five (5) times you thought nobara liked maki, and the one (1) time she proved you wrong.

ŕłââˇ: reference/inspiration: pov: you're falling in love with someone you cant have
[author's note:] hii so um HAPPY (VERY BELATED) BIRTHDAY BESTIE<33 @wenmiyun lots of hugs and kisses mwah mwah /p PLSS I'M SO SORRY I HAVE TO GIFT YOU MY SHITTY WRITING AND ESPECIALLY THIS LATE, here's my attempt of writing for nobara, i never written for jjk before so spare me the harsh criticism on their personalities </3
[warnings:] lowercase, occ nobara + other jjk characs, angst, fluff, jealousy behavior (from reader), reader really is jealous of maki, cringe humour, reader writes in (not) a diary, cursing, kiss scene, nobara is taller than reader, they/them pronouns, reader wants to be beaten up by nobara (once).
[If there is anything else triggering here that I didnât list in the warnings section, please tell me.]
[GN reader]
â
°. (when she found maki pretty).
["dear diary, how does one cope with the intense feeling of knowing your feelings aren't reciprocated and you want to crawl in a hole and die? because I really want to crawl in a hole and die?"]
["dear diary, I don't even have a diary; I'm just writing on a piece of paper and calling it a diary to look like I actually write stuff down when really I don't."]
["dear diary, I'm feeling like a piece of shit and really overthinking this, but i think i'm 100% going to get rejected and I'm 100% going to look like an absolute fool in front of her, and I'm going to ruin our friendship in the process while I watch her get together with maki :')"]
["dear diary, imagine not being able to afford a therapist and having to resort to taking to someâ"]
the sound of pencil lead being snapped, it falls to the wooden floor and magically disappears within the color of the floor. "âŚfucck.." you whisper curses, knowing you have to go find a sharpener, sharpen your pencil, and go back to writing in your diary (a piece of paper). what's even better is that you don't even know where the hell you're going to find a sharpener anywhere in these grounds, plus the fact that it literally took you almost 30 minutes just to find a goddamn pencil to write withâsometimes you just really question your luck in life.
you lean back on the chair, putting down the pencil on the desk beside the piece of paper. the silence in the classroom wasn't helping the debate happening inside your headâwhether it was worth it to try and find a sharpener or suffer by yourself by letting this extreme surge of sadness from inside of you till you cry to the point of exhaustion. you decided you weren't going to deal with another emotional toll today.
after 15 minutes of attempting to find a sharpener, you gave up, opting to just walk around outside to hopefully soothe your troubled mind. while walking, you happened to see yuji and nobara talking to each other. walking up to them, you were to say hello to them (especially to see her) before stopping your footsteps from going forward.Â
"do you find maki-san pretty?" head tilted, a child-like confusion is shown on yuji's face, facing towards the person in question, nobara.
intuitively, you hid behind a pillar to not be spotted by them. your ears are now caught in interest; you wantedâno, neededâto know her answer. your heart rate is picking up its pace, beating, and pounding so loudly in your chest that it almost feels like you're about to jump and escape into her arms. your smile couldn't be contained as it slowly grew and grew until it reached your ears, making you look like a fool in love (you very much are).
"hah? where did that question come from?" crossing her arms at her chest, taking a defensive stance to the question being thrown at her, she raises a brow at yuji's question. "just curious; you kind of look at maki differently, i guess?" with a convincingly straight face, yuji remains unbothered by the defensive stance nobara takes in response to his question, "so do you find-"Â
"of course I'd find maki-san pretty," she answered, very quick and brief, cutting yuji off before he could even finish his attempt at repeating the question, almost like she's certainâconfident even in her answer, which she just told to yuji.
that answer alone was enough to make your wide smile turn into a frown in a matter of seconds. you felt like crying; you could feel your eyes tearing up. staying here and watching the two of them talk was only going to worsen your mood, so you walked away on slightly shaking legs. wiping the tears that have now appeared, you've lost the determination to find that goddamn sharpener.
"but what abou-"
"but.." nobara cuts off yuji again, though he doesn't seem to be bothered by it, sending blank stares as he waits for her to continue on. nobara finishes, in a hushed and quiet tone, "(name) is definitely the prettiest."
â
ą. (when she had fighting sessions with maki)
you were on edge, high on anticipation, feeling the sweat in your palms build up as you sit at the end of your seat, watching from the sidelines as nobara and maki practice fighting each other to pass the time. you silently cheered on for nobara with absolute bias; despite the winner of this fighting match being as clear as day (it's maki), you still cheered on for nobara, for her.Â
the way she moved and dodged every attack maki made towards her, the way she gripped very tightly onto her weapon in hand, every swift and duck she did, every twist and turn her body didâshe somehow made all of them so goddamn alluring. your eyes were stuck to her like glue, watching her every move just like maki except not out of caution and with the intent to defeat her but because of how breathless you were from watching from afar. her scrunched-up face when she struggles, those displays of frustration and smug grins when she's trying to disguise her painâall these things about her are what made you drawn to her. even when everything else around you is hectic and chaotic, your eyes will search and search till they land on her. somehow, in some way, your eyes always manage to find her.
maki-san was lucky, you thought as your eyes continued to be stuck on nobara, slowly blurring out the rest of the fight scene and just focusing on her and her alone. she gets a front-row view of nobara, gets to hang out with her, and has the honor of being someone she admires and someone she respects. maki-san doesn't know how lucky she is, you thought again, this time feeling more envyâperhaps even showing it on your face with how much it boils inside of you. controlling your facial expressions when you finally snapped out of that jealousy haze you were momentarily in, remembering how you got caught making a face around maki as she got you to snap out by asking you directly if there was something on her face. you didn't want to be caught again by her suspicious gaze. who knows what she'll do when she gets so pissed that she starts beating you up?
if you were being honest, you'd much rather prefer nobara beating you up; if the roles of the fight were reversed and you were in the fight instead of maki-san, you would be in paradise. multiple times already have you been utterly bested in a fight against nobara and every single time she would have that victory smirk plastered on her face, it never failed to set you in a frenzy state.
"haah, i wasn't even close," nobara said in defeat as she sat on the grass, exhausted. taking heavy and deep breaths, the rise and fall of her chest prove the amount of air the fight took out of her.
"heh, you did better than last time; i'll say that," maki says as she extends her hand towards the tired nobara, offering to help her get back on her feet.
taking the help, she reached for maki's hand, and upon contact, maki pulled her back up. when the two locked eyes, there's a new-found twinkle in nobara's eyes, seeing as maki just complimented her. "wah!? really, maki-san!?"Â
perhaps you were in a daze for far too long, for the fighting match had already ended with maki-san being the victor, of course. you stared at them from a distance as they continued to converse with one another. you could feel your face contort into an expressionâyou're not sure what kind of expression you were making exactly. though you couldn't hear their conversation, you could see their expressions and faces change as the talk between them went on. they looked like they're having a lot of fun, you thought, especially her; the thought persists to drill into your brain. feeling sick in your stomach, you stood up from your seat and walked off, not wanting to look at the scene of them happily talking any longer. maybe writing in that diary (piece of paper) will cheer you up.
"did you do better because they were watching?" maki raised an eyebrow at nobara, smirking slightly as she watched the ginger-haired girl get flustered by her question.
"h-how did you-"
"it's not rocket science; it's more clear than the curses i see without my glasses," maki commented bluntly while also cutting nobara mid-sentence. although what she said was true, it was a blow to nobara's pride as she was doing everything she didn't want to do: being obvious about how she feels towards you.
â
˛. (when she smiled at maki and maki smiled at her back)
gojo satoru, your sensei, had a plan for all the first years and second years to go to the beach this sunday, saying how it's a good time to take a break and relax from our student responsibilities and enjoy our youth, or something along those lines and while most of them were reluctant to go (because it was gojo sensei's idea, you could never trust what he's planning about, plus he is a moron) somehowâand miraculously so, managed to convince everyone, including you, to join in on the trip.
contrary to your initial expectations about the trip, it's pretty fun (good job sensei!), for the first time in quite a while, you felt relaxed. something you haven't felt in what, weeks? months? in you convince yourself enough you might even believe it has been years since you've felt the tension leave your body. not only was the view of the beautiful sunset amazing but everything else around you too. the cool wind kissing your face as your hair flows in the air, the splashing of waves against the shore, the distant noise of birds chirping as they fly above you, the loud laughter of your upperclassmen and friends as they have fun chasing each other in the sand. this was pure bliss.
getting bored of the sunset view you turned your head to face your upperclassmen and friends doing their usual antics onto each other, gaining a small smile and a short-lived laugh out of you. as your eyes start to drift away from the sight of your friends, it naturally searches for nobara, for her. once it does finds her, there's a split second of your eyes widening in joy before returning back to your neutral face as you notice who she's with, maki, again. you turn your head away to try and be subtle but still keep an eye on them, from your peripheral vision you could see nobara sending maki a smile and maki sends her a small smile in return, they look happy together, you thoughtâ sometimes you wish that was you instead, standing by her side, smiling and happily by her side. deep down you know that will never happen.
while you weren't looking, nobara took (not so) tiny and small glances at your direction, the view she had of your side profile was perfect, the effect of the sunset on you made a smile on her face, realizing how beautiful you were and all the little facial features you had she hasn't noticed yet. she would stare at you for hours and hours on end, for seeing your face was already a miracle for her.
â
ł. (when she looks for matching bracelets with maki)
the bustling city outside the borders of tokyo jujutsu high wasn't the kind of environment you would choose to spend your free time in; you'd much prefer staying inside your dorm and sleeping or playing games on your phone, but you were invited by nobara herself (and being the desperate fool you are, you would take any chances and opportunities to spend some quality time with her). you're currently waiting in front of some cafe, sitting on one of their outside tables and chairs, for nobara and maki to arrive.
sure, you weren't too happy that maki would be accompanying you two (you deeply and desperately wished it was just you two hours prior; does the world really hate you that much?) but you weren't going to let that fact bother you. no, you weren't. maki-san is a great person, a great friend of nobara, and someone she admires. you just want to control your jealousy around her. mentally prepare talking to yourself as you await their arrival. you pray that you don't appear weird or crazy with how sometimes you accidentally slip out curses out of your mouth. you don't need to make a fool of yourself this early in the day.
minutes have passed, and you could see two familiar silhouettes appearing in your line of sight, walking towards the cafe you're waiting at. you start waving at them to show you were already here, and they wave back as their figures slowly get clearer and bigger in your line of sight. "wow.. you look great, (name)!" your eyes widen at nobara's positive comment on your outfit; it wasn't anything special, just the clothes you usually wear when you go out, except with a little more style. there's no way you're going to underdress when she's going to show up. "heh.. thanks! you look great too! and- maki-san as well!" you can feel your hands sweat a little, giving out a nervous smile. you compliment her back (you wanted to say more) while also not forgetting to mention maki as well. just so you don't seem rude and impolite.
maki hummed in acknowledgement of your comment. "you're not bad yourself, (name)," she says. you know maki isn't one to sugarcoat, so it was good to be affirmed that you didn't look bad.
"now, which store should we check out first?"
hours have passed, and the three of you have gone into at least three stores, which felt like a blast to you. never has walking around big malls and looking through hundreds of different kinds and sets of clothing been this fun and exciting. bags, and bags have filled the majority of your hands. you three walked together, chatting along while trying to look for more stores to shop at. finally settling on a small shop down the street that sells handmade bracelets.
"this one suits you, maki-san!" nobara exclaimed, giving the bracelet to maki for her to try on, and when maki put the bracelet on, her eyes beamed as she said something about finding more bracelets to buy for the three of you guys.
as you watched them pick out bracelets from the ones displayed, you stared at them from a distance. watching them closely, not even caring to be subtle about your staring as you feel a certain familiar feeling start boiling up inside you. even then, you continued to watch them, your hands no longer picking up bracelets to try on as they remained still by your side. they look so nice together. though, as you know, that was intended to be sarcasm, the enviousness' grew and grew by milliseconds, not just towards maki but to everything. why was it always maki-san with her? why is it that she gets to be with her the most? why couldn't maki-san be replaced by you? why couldn't that be you?
"how about you, (name)? did you find one you like?" nobara's voice pulls you out of your daze. she was now staring straight at you, causing you to crumble inside within seconds. the jealousy and envy feeling inside faded as she had you now in a more giddy state. you swallowed a lump down your throat to hopefully increase your chances of not sounding like a nervous wreck.
"uh- sorry, haven't found one yet.. plus i need to go.." you try to politely leave, seeing as you might just ruin the whole hangout if your jealousy gets in the way. better to just leave then to cause trouble for everyone else. "you're leaving already?" nobara raised an eyebrow at your mention of departure. not that she was surprised, as she knew your energy levels were different compared to hers; it was just that this was way too early for you to leave, usually whenever you guys hang out.
"yeah.. bye!"
"..see ya (name)!"
rushing to leave your footsteps fasten as you basically speed walk away from them, without saying a word, you left. not even looking back once.
"you think (name) will like this bracelet?" holding up a purple color scheme bead bracelet between her fingers, she inspects itâalmost like she's imagining how it would look on your wrist. "or would they like this one better?" she said, holding up another bead bracelet in her other hand between her fingers; this time it was a blue color scheme. giving the bracelet the same look she gave it with the other one.
"i think they would like anything you give to them," maki replied, rather sure of her words. while she doesn't know the nature of how deep your relationship is with nobara, she can tell it was a close bond. "..you think so?" whispering, her orange gaze softens as she eyes the bracelets in two of her hands. maki observes the girl; the aura around her feels tender, like she got dragged into feeling such a sentimental scene. "you know, if you can't decide, you can just buy both." just then, a light bulb lit up inside nobara's head.
she did, in fact, buy both bracelets; of course, both bracelets had a pair.
â
´. (when she said she loved maki)
"i love you."
that was the last nail hammered on the coffin, and god, does it fucking hurt so much? it felt like your whole heart just died, got shot where it hurt the most, and bled and bled till nothing was left behind. your heart bled for nothing; it loved for nothing; you hoped and prayed for nothing. this was the upcoming downfall you warned yourself about over and over again, yet you still fell for it. you still fell for the false hopes you deluded yourself into having, making yourself think you had any slim chance of getting your feelings reciprocated. how stupidâhow stupid of you to believe in anything.
the world around you blurs out: the sounds of people talking and chatting, the walking and running footsteps of hundreds and thousands of strangers, the chirping of birds, the engines of vehicles, and such driving on the roadâit is all just one blurry background to you. one that your brain cannot process, one that your brain doesn't want to process, because every fiber and tissue in your being is wishing right now to be swallowed whole by a curse and crushed into countless pieces to the point of no recognition. you wish to be erased, removed, eradicated, disintegratedâanything that could make you disappear from this worldâfrom her. just by hearing her name in your head makes you want to go fucking insane.
perhaps it was your fault for being so nosy and wanting to take a peek at the note that has been placed on nobara's desk. if only you weren't so desperate for any confirmation of her feelings, if only you stayed content with how things are with her, you wouldn't have to get hurt this badly. the letter that was on her desk was a love letter, and you could still remember how your heart picked up pace, giving you an anxious feeling in your gut after such a discovery. slowly and nervously opening up the folded letter, you instantly knew whose handwriting it wasâit was nobara's. you read and read, then you put down the letter and walked away, trying to hold back your tears from falling out. you weren't even able to read the whole thing because you knew who it was for. it was for maki.
you hated how she talked about how pretty maki wasâthe prettiest evenâhow she loved those fighting sessions she had with her, how beautiful she looked as she watched the sunset go down, and how she bought matching bracelets thinking of her. every word written in the letter screamed maki, maki, maki, maki.. not you.
you locked yourself in your room, crashing forcefully onto the bed. you lay there motionless, almost like you're dead. well, perhaps you are dead; a part of you is gone, erased, eradicated. there's a certain numbness in your tongue yet an overwhelming sense of sadness in your head that you just can't get rid of.
["dear diary, I feel like shit; i look like shit; what's even the point? clearly, she doesn't like me; why am I still pursuing?"]
["dear diary, i'm so mad at myself; i want to scream so badly, but it's like there's this rock somewhere in my mouth stopping me from letting it all outâshit, shit, i'm cryin' now."]
suddenly, a knock on your door reaches your ears, pulling you out of your head. the energy to walk up and open the door is non-existent, as you just want to lay down and not get up. you only do so when you hear a familiar voice outside of your room.
"(name)? can we talk?" her voice is a bit muffled due to being on the other side of the door, but you could still hear her as clearly as day. she sounded concerned, which in turn made you concerned too. what did she want to talk about? did you do something wrong? did you accidentally make her mad? panic settles in, and questions start flooding in your mind. you got up from your bed and walked towards the door, opening just slightly to take a peek outside, and there she was, standing outside your room.
"hey.." you tried putting effort into your greeting, but it just came out very tired. making it up for the tired greeting, you gave a small smile. you could see from the small opening of the door that she gave a small smile back to you. you opened the door wide for her, letting her into your room so that the conversation between you two would remain private.
"you saw the letter...?" she looked in disbelief as she said that, the kind of look you would give to someone who you didn't want to see what they just saw. was the love letter for maki supposed to be a secret? "..you mean the letter for maki-san? yeah, but i didn't take a peek," you lied, somehow saying that lie was much easier to breathe at the moment. god, just mentioning her name in your mouth was enough to have you breakdown, but you needed to be strong; you needed to put up a front long enough for you to be alone and die from heartbreak.
"for maki-san? the letter is not for maki-san.." confusion was evident on her face; seeing her reaction made you confused as well. was the letter really not for maki-san? you thought. were you wrong about the letter being for maki-san? you thought again.
"..the letter was for you, (name)!"
"..what? wait! you like me!?"
"yes!"
you two stared at each other in shock as confusion faded away while the confession settled slowly in your mind. she likes you, not maki-san; she likes you and not maki-san; surely this might be a dreamâno way she actually likes you back. there's just no way it's possible.
"i like you (name)," sounding more sure of herself, the slight furrowed of her eyebrows, her lips being in a straight line, her eyes showing fear, nervousness, and anticipation all in one, the trembling of her handsâyou could see her waiting patiently for your answer. this was enough to tell you that this was real; her confession was real and sincere.
"..i like you too."
â
°. (when her lips touched yours, in uttermost passion)
she was so pretty up closeâway too pretty, in factâthat she left you stunnedâso stunned that you don't even realize really just how close she actually was. you can feel her breath on your lips and your cheeks heating up. enchanted by her and her beauty, you can no longer restrain yourself anymore. slowly sneaking your arms around her neck, resting them on her shoulders, you gently push her closer to you, all the while trying to hide your eagerness. noticing your behavior changed, she grinsâgrabbing your waist in her hands to keep you from potentially moving away from her; she doesn't want to let you go (not that you would do such a thing; clearly from your actions, you don't want to let her go either). inch by inch, little by little, the space between you two disappears as seconds pass by. just as you're about to get the luxury of kissing her, she diverts her head to the side of your head; instead of kissing your lips, she kisses underneath your ear instead.
surprised by her bold action, you let out a squeak, that scarlet color of red spreading through your cheeks and ears, shutting your eyes due to the embarrassment you feelâyou can feel the soft touch her kisses emit on your skin. tingling every nerve in your nervous system, causing your whole body to tremble tremendously, and not being able to do anything but let her continue pressing gentle kisses underneath your ear is a blissful moment for you, one you don't want to end.
alas, you felt the loss of her lips on your skin, the creeping feeling of disappointment shown on your facials when you frowned when she pulled away. she notices the change in your mood and is flashing a smug expression back at your frown. "aww... what's wrong? you have quite the long face.." she teased, letting out a little laugh as she spoke. moving one of her hands from your waist to your cheek, she gently caressed it with her thumb, moving it slowly in different patterns and shapes. even as she teases you, that glint of tenderness in her eyes gives your heart a fast-pumping rhythm, just like the many times before she's made your heartbeat hasten.
"..i want to kiss you!" you quietly yet boldly declare right to her face, eyebrows furrowed and eyes slightly squinted to show how much you wantâno, you need for her lips to be on yours. after so much restraint and yearning, you deserve at least this much. plus, with how close her lips are to you, how could you not want to kiss her?
you could see her eyes slightly widen at your demand, surprised by your unexpected newfound confidence and boldness, cheeks go slightly red after really processing what you've just said, and she can feel the breath in her throat go away as soon as she tries to speak. "l-like, right now!?" hating the way she stutters, especially in front of someone as pretty as you, the tremble of her lips tells you enough of what she's really feeling right now. "yes, if that's okay with you," you reply, not wanting to force her into something she didn't want to do.
"no! it's..it's okay."
"are you sure?"
"yes, i'm sure (name).."
"are you really sure..?"
"yes, i'm totally sure."
"...okay" you say, not necessarily believing her but still taking her word for it. unwrapping your arms around her neck, you put your grip on her uniform, pulling her even closer to you than before, making her feel your nervous breath on her lips and hers on yours. "..are you ready?" showing your uncertainty in her consent to let you kiss her. you wanted to be ultimately sure that she wanted this too and that this wasn't one-sided by any means possible. "always" she smiled, rather softly and not the smug kind you were expecting. she always had such a dominating aura in your eyes; the way she presented herself wherever she was and the confidence she carries always made your legs buckle and your heart throb.
you went on your tippy toes, making yourself slightly taller than your original height to help you close the gap between your lips better. in your opinion, the lack of space between you two would have made you shiver in distress had it been anyone else that was in her position; she was not anyone else; no, she was the exception. the only way you would let this close to you personally (and literally), she was very, very special indeed.
she must have grown impatient because, as soon as you moved just an inch towards her face, she moved her lips onto yours. her eyes were closed when she went in for the kiss; you, however, were in a state of shock, like time had frozen still, leaving you somewhat paralyzed in the palms of her hands, temporarily helpless as you finally reap what you've sowed for such a very long time. the kiss was nothing grand; the best way you could describe the kiss shared between you two was a peck on the lips. it was very clear that neither of you two had any sort of experience with romance, let alone intimacy. this was probably the first kiss you two were going to have, and god, it felt really good.
"............"
"............"
"...wow, that was so hot."
"yeah? really?"
"yeah, really hot, like really, really hot."
"..do you want another one?"
"..hell yeah"
you kissed her one last time, just to make sure none of this wasn't a dreamâit wasn't; not one bit was a dream. her lips are reality, her hands touching your cheeks are reality, her being yours is reality, and you being hers is reality. all of this is reality, and goddamn, it feels so fucking good.
["dear diary, FUCK YOU, I HAVE A FUCKING GIRLFRIEND NOW!!"]

why cant i actually FINISH THE STORIES I START
ive been obsessing over this new plot i came up with for a jordan x marie x oc story
oc is undercover at godu for the boys
some excerpts under the cut.
I need to get Jordan and Marie up to speed and then we can figure this out. I took a steadying breath and went back into the room, expecting anything from an awkward silence to a full on make out session between the two of them. What I wasnât expecting was a death glare from Jordan and a confused and hurt look from Marie.
âWho was that?â Jordan asked. Their voice was cold - deadly. I shivered involuntarily, and I felt my heart rate spike.Â
âLong story. I can explain everything in a bit, we just need -â I know thereâs exhaustion in my voice, even I can hear it.Â
âNo. What the hell was that?â They said, a harshness in their voice I hadnât heard before. I blinked at them, confused.Â
âA phone call?â
âAbout my friends? What the hell are you up to, Riley?âÂ
Youâd think Iâd be prepared for this version of this conversation - people donât like being lied to, even if it was important. But I never imagined Iâd get this phone call in this situation. I took a deep breath, trying to figure out the best way to play this. If I canât convince them that Iâm on their side, Iâll basically be feeding them to Vought myself.
âI asked a friend of mine to look into something for me. I - just, letâs go somewhere safe, and we can talk, yeah?â I said pleadingly.Â
âNo. Iâve ignored your red flags for too long. I donât trust you, Riley, especially not now.â My heart stopped. Jordan was basically my best friend. I wasnât delusional enough to think that I was theirs, but I didnât really have friends. Jordan knows things about me - real things - that no one else knows. I could feel myself start to spiral, the fear of losing them rising in my throat like bile.
âYou donât understand, just let -â I was almost begging and I cursed myself for the way my voice was breaking.Â
âYou put my friends in danger! What else is there to understand?â They were almost yelling, and they took a deep breath, lowering their volume. I tried not to think about the fact that I wasnât included in that list. âI brought you in, and youâre -â They stopped, glaring at me. Marie was still silent, just sort of watching this play out. âGet out. Donât contact us. I donât know whatâs going on here, but itâs clear you know more than youâve been saying, and I wonât believe anything you say now. Shitâs crazy, and youâre the only piece that doesnât fit here.â It was like they twisted the knife into my gut.
âShitâs crazy?! Just let me -â They shifted to their male form, stepping forward.Â
âGet. Out.â They repeated darkly. My eyes flashed orange briefly.Â
---
âYou guys were in a newer Vought research facility about 30 miles from GodU. I was able to track an influx of strange shipments and an increase in security that corresponded directly with the day-â I had to pause and take a steadying breath.Â
Images from the aftermath of the massacre flashed in my head - each dead body was someone I knew - a prisoner that I should have saved. If I had only been braver, if I had only been more focused. Each corpse could have been me - if I hadnât gotten out when I did. If I had made one wrong move, I would have been back in The Woods, and would have ended up bleeding out on that lawn like the rest of them.Â
I cleared my throat, and pushed the suffocating guilt down. âWith the day of the massacre. Once we found that, we were able to infiltrate the facility, and well, you know the rest.â
âNone of this answers the million dollar question, which is why the hell were you spying on us?â Jordan snapped, clearly tired of dancing around the issue. I couldnât keep from rolling my eyes and Butcher scoffed.
âYou cunts are not important enough for that.â Butcher quipped, and Jordan shifted, stepping closer to Butcher to get in his face.
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â Jordan growled, and Butcher stepped forward, the dark glint in his eyes making it clear he had been waiting for this since Jordan came in. I may not have told him the full story of what happened between us, but he saw the pain in my eyes after the fight I had with Jordan and Marie, and he was there for all the sleepless nights I spent trying desperately to find them.Â
âOi, chill out, kid.â Butcher chuckled, clearly not backing down. âIt means that the only reason youâre here is because she likes you. It wouldâve saved us a lot of trouble if she never met any of you.â
âSaved you a lot of trouble? We were prisoners for weeks!â I winced at that.Â
âIf you hadnât bitched her out after that party and actually listened to her, none of this would have happened!â

still have my heart.
[22.] private conversation
"so, youre telling me you met alixia yesterday?" lumine said as she placed her drink onto the table. "and they were with kazuha?" lumine continued as you nodded your head. "looks like alixia is real after all" lumine sighed as if she was actually dissappointed. "there goes my chances of making fun of him" she said sarcastically.
you sighed at your friend as you took a sip from your drink. you invited lumine to hang out at a small cafe to talk (shit) about kazuha.
lumine's phone buzzed as she got up and finished her drink. "aether's calling me, i have to go now" lumine waved at you as she took her leave.
you sat alone at the cafe to sort out your thoughts and feelings. you were curious about alixia and kazuha. were they really a thing? being too occupied with your thoughts, you didnt even realize when a certain person approached you
speak of the devil and she shall appear
"do you mind if i sit here" alixia asked as they tapped their finger on to the table to catch your attention. you were startled by their appearance but agreed nonetheless
'wait- why did i even agree?!'
you sat by awkwardly as alixia tried to converse with you. "what a coincidence bumping into you here!" their tone full of glee. "do you usually go here?" they asked, trying to keep a conversation. "ah, well i usually go with my friend here to catch up" you answered, the awkward tension still not going away.
"oh? but you were alone when i saw you here?" she asked as you answered her. "my friend just left. i just stayed here to think about some things"
"whats on your mind?" you were taken aback by their question. why would they ask that? do they think you're that close for you to tell them what you were thinking?? but then again, you needed to get things out of your system... and alixia looks like theyre willing to listen....
"w-well, i have an ex..." you paused for a moment but continued anyways "...and lately ive been seeing them with another person... and im not sure if they're actually dating or just trying to make me jealous" you confessed. you were a bit irritated at yourself for how quick you were to spill to someone you barely knew.
"well are you jealous?" they asked. although it was an innocent question you cant help to think that they were mocking you. 'jealous? me?? of course not! he should be the one to be jealous' you wanted to say. you grew even more irritated at the thought of being jealous. although the other seemed to misunderstand as alixia took your silence as a yes.
"you shouldnt be jealous after all if you are jealous youre just basically losing to your ex" you snapped out of your thoughts from their words. they were right. "its better if you look forward rather than behind and leave the things that bothers you! atleast thats what i would do" they smiled sheepishly, trying to give you advice.
you cant help but be comforted at their words. theyre right. maybe they arent so bad
you smiled at them. "right. thank you alixia. that means a lot to me." this time you smiled not out of spite.
"do you mind if we exchange numbers then?" you asked as you pulled out your phone. alixia nodded as you they gave you their number.
you and alixia bid each other farewell as you had to take your leave.
'maybe theyre not so bad' you thought to yourself

DRABBLE: Betrayal
Part âž1 đ¤ 2 đ¤ 3 âž
Pairing : Jimin x reader
Genre: hurt/comfort, yandere(soft) not very obvious in this one
The music thrummed through the walls of the club.
You stood outside the bathroom waiting for one of your friends. Your other friends were either already seated or enjoying the themelves on the dance floor. It was your friends birthday and she had invited you to the party. They also planned to surprise ther other friend with a custom cake and gifts because they missed her birthday.
They didn't get one for mine. your brain cruelly supplies.
Instead Jimin came knocking at your door exactly twelve 'o' clock, with a boquet and a cake and balloons. If it were any other day you wouldn't let him inside your house. You would ask him where he got your address even if you knew finding things about you was just a piece of cake for him.
"Are you ok?" your friend Momo asks as she takes a look at your face.
"I am fine." you reply politely.
Lights kept flashing. Blue, Red, Green ; brightening the cave like atmosphere of the place. You take a seat. The menu is passed round so everyone can select what they want to order. After placing the order. Everyone decides to go to the roof for pictures. The roof is airy. The weather is cloudy but you put on your brightest smile... so that nobody notices. The waiter calls you as the food is served. You try eating but you can only pick on your meal. Which you really shouldn't considering you'd technically paid for it. The gifts and cake were pricey afterall.
The meal ends and the waiter brings the surprise cake. Sulli smiles brightlyy plesantly surprised and you cant help but envy her. Your friend Sora nudges you and you take out the hand made scrapbook you'd pulled an all nighter on.. even though it was supposed to be a group project. You wonder why you invest so much when you get barely anything in return.
"I'm sorry something came up."you tell your hosts."I had a lot of fun see you later."
"Should I drop you?" Sora asks since she was your ride.
"I'll manage." You reply
Staying any longer felt unbearable. You sit on the stairs at the entrance of the club. Removing your high heels from your aching feet, you didnt know what possessed you to wear them.
Drops fell one by one, then all at once.
You clench your fist. Your nails pressing painfully on your palms.
You take out your phone to check the time and book a cab. You are ready to throw your phone when it reads unavailable.
You wonder if the buses will work.
You make a run to the nearest bus stop. You sit at the bus stop drenched. Even more uncomfortable than before.
You tug your jacket closer feeling uncomfortable at the men staring at you unashamed. Their smoking makes you nauseous for some reason.
You look to check the time again.
Your phone rings and you almost drop it.
"Hello." You say answering the call.
"Hi angel. I didn't think you'd answer my call."
"Mmh... what do you want?" Your voice is but a whimper for some reason.
"Can't I say I miss you?"
"You're my boss Jimin."
"So if I wasn't would you give me a chance." He questions.
"I dont know." There is silence on the line. "Actually I was just thinking about you... I uh.."
"I'm listening angel you have all my attention."
"It's Nothing." You say before you sneeze.
"Hmm I couldn't hear you doll are you outside?"
"Yes ... it was a birthday.. one of my friends had invited us."
"Do you need a ride home?" He asks.
"No its fine. I dont even know why I'm talking to my boss on the weekend."
"Come on I'll drop you. You're alone right.. Its dangerous for such a beautiful girl to be out. Send me your location now I'll be there."
You couldn't help but feel flattered. That Jimin would drop whatever he was doing for you at a moments notice. It was insane. The stark contrast of people in your life. On one hand were your friends and then there was Jimin.
You sighed. You were too tired to think. And cold. Anything seemed better than the pathetic state you were in.
As his sleek car rolls up you realise how much of a mess you were. You were surely dripping and probably ruined your makeup and hair.
The cars honk makes you get up.
The window rolls down revealing Jimin.
"I'm wet. I'll dirty it." You tell him.
"It's fine come in." He says urging you inside.
You sit and put the seat belt on when he hands you a towel.
"How?" You question without realising.
"I was shopping for home essentials for my guest room."
"Oh."You say grateful to the universe.
Jimin turns on the heater.
You open the mirror on the passenger seat to find luckily you don't look too bad.
The car ride is silent. Gentle music playing in the background so it's not awkward and before you realise it you fell asleep.
Jimin gently rouses you.
"Y/n. Angel. We're here."
You sneeze in response and are rewarded with Jimins sonorous laughter.
"Where are we?" You ask confused.
"Outside my apartment. It was closer. If you stay damp any longer you'll catch a cold. And we can't have that can we?"
Before you can answer he's dragging you along.
The building is luxurious to say the least. It looks straight out of a magazine. He leads you to the lift and up you go. The glass lift gives the night view and you can't help but admire it.
The lift opens into a hallway. Jimin unlocks his door with the press of a thumb.
The apartment is like the rest of the building sparkling and shiny.
Jimin pulls out some home slippers for you.
"Why don't you take a shower? I have some clothes that might fit."
You nod the bathroom is so clean that you're afraid to dirty it but you notice a yellow chick towel and it's a bit out of place but it makes you feel comfortable.
The jet spray is so good along with the perfect temperature of water that you never want to get out, but you're feet are aching.
So you get out and dry your hair and wear the soft cotton pajama set Jimin gave you.
As you near the drawing room you can hear sounds in the kitchen.
"Jimin.." you call.
"Here." He replies. His hair is wet too. He looks soft like a boba ball.
"Take a seat. It's almost ready. I thought it would be nice to have a snack."
You take a look around his house and soft a round sofa bed with fluffy pillows and you decide you want to try it.
You sit on it and wrap the sofa rug around yourself and stare outside. The view is spectacular with the glass walls. You wonder if you'd be able to have something like this if you want to.
Jimin brings two glasses of mojito and a plate of fried rice and dumplings to share.
"Dig in."
"Thank you for the meal." You say before eating a dumpling and it's perfect.
"You're a good cook."
You take a sip of the mojito and the fresh mint leaves make it refreshing.
"Do you want to watch something?" Jimin asks.
You shrug busy with your meal and he feels the urge to shuffle your hair.
He puts on a movie he's sure you like.
"Have you seen this?" You ask.
"Yes, it's one my favourites." He replies.
And maybe it's something about the night, that all your doors are open rather than closed.
What's one more betrayal after all.

I loved living in the countryside. I always thought the calmness and the beautiful landscape were way better than the loudness of London. Again, my friends seemed to think otherwise. Most of my childhood friends moved to the big city, while I stayed here. The others? Well I guess their only reason to stay here was because they didnât have enough money to move out on their own.
Well I am sure not ashamed of living the countryside! In fact, Iâm actually quite glad I get to stay here with my parents. I have a great job at a bakery, where I get to meet lots of wonderful people.
The sound of the house phone pulled me out of my thoughts. I heard my moms rushed steps as she answered the phone.
âHello?â I heard her say.
Silence.
âYes, sheâs upstairs, let me call her just a sec- Y/N!!?â She yelled.
I ran down the stairs. I already knew who was calling, it was my best friend. I had met her at the bakery. She was already working there when I got the job. She was the one who showed me everything I had to know. She is like a big ball of energy, I love her.
I snatch the phone from my mothers hand and try to take a breath before I let out: âHey! Whatâs up?â.
âHoney you need to come to the pub with me tonight!â She almost screamed.
âWell actually I was planning on-â
âNo, no. You donât understand, I didnât say âDo you want to come to the pub with me tonight?â, I said âYou NEED to come to the pub with me tonight!â It was not a question!â She was clearly excited, I didnât know why, but before I even had the time to ask her whatâs got her in such a rush, she added: âI heard there was a small band playing tonight, and Iâm not one to usually spoil the surprise, but you might actually know one of themâŚâ
âKnow one of them? What do you mean?â I held the phone between my ear and my shoulder, trying to ignore my mothers complaints about the phone bill for this month.
âDo you remember your bestie, your best pal, Johnny boy-â she cooed.
âJohn?!â
âAnyways I donât have very much time to talk. Iâll come pick you up around 7pm. Be ready!â She hung up before I had the time to process what she just said.
Deaky?
//
A couple years earlierâŚ
âWhy are you even leaving? Why are you leaving me behind? Am I not good enough for youâ I complained to my best friend. We grew up together. We were attached at the hip. When you saw me, John would never we far behind.
Unfortunately, he decided to study far away from here. In fact, he was leaving for the big city, London. It broke my heart when he told me the news. But seeing him so happy made me realize I couldnât hold him back. I wanted to follow him, to move in with him in the city, but I couldnât leave my life here behind. My parents needed me, I loved my job and I always pictured myself living here forever.
I kept complaining while he was packing his stuff. He would be leaving tomorrow.
âWhat are you even talking about? You are perfect Y/N! You have been the greatest of friends to me during all these years and I wouldnât change it for the world! But this is my chance, Y/N, itâs my chance to finally be happy and do what I love! Can you please try to understand that?â He kept packing, and the more he packed, the more he sounded annoyed.
âI understand thatâŚâ I looked down at my feet. I truly wanted him to be happy, even tho it meant I would lose him.
âI promise Iâll call and write to you everyday!â He finally looked at me, taking a break from packing to take a small breath. âThis doesnât mean we wonât stay friends, youâre still my #1, always remember thatâ
Oh and how I wanted to cry, I wanted to hold him forever, I wanted to keep him from going away, I wanted to stay at his side. But that was not possible. No matter what I said, no matter what I did, I couldnât change his mind.
//
Now.
âQuick, Y/N, weâre going to be late!â My best friend yelled at me through the rolled down window of her car.
âLate for what?â I ran to her car.
âFor the drinks, of course!â And she drove away.
When we got there, the place was actually a bit more packed than it usually was. This town wasnât big, which meant every face was familiar. And as of the band playing on stage, one of the faces was familiar tooâŚ
She was right.
Heâs here.
And he saw me. Oh god he saw me! His expression changed immediately after we made eye contact. He tried his best to keep playing without being distracted by my presence, and I tried to act calm, as if I didnât just see my ex best friend I havenât seen in more than two years.
I drank my drinks, ignoring the piercing stare Deaky was giving me behind my back. And when they were done with their show, everyone applauded, while I was stuck in my own thoughts.
âCome on! Youâve got to go see him! Itâs been so longâ. My best friend grabbed my arm and pulled me out of my seat.
âStop! I canât do that!â
âWhy not?â She turned around and gave me a weird look.
âBecause IâŚI donât-â
âExactly, you have no good reason. Letâs go!â She pulled me in the âbackstageâ area.
As soon as I saw him I froze, and so did he. We both looked at each other with tears in our eyes. I thought it would be awkward, I thought Iâd be mad at him because he stopped writing to me after a year. But I wasnât. I couldnât even find one ounce of anger towards him.
So I ran up to him, and I think he ran up to me too, and I gave him the biggest hug Iâve ever given in my entire life. I heard him whisper a small âHey little oneâ and I pulled back. I took a good look at him.
His hair had gotten longer, it looked so soft. His grey eyes shined under the bright lights. His features had gotten a little sharper. But in the end he was still my Deaky.
âI canât believe youâre here! I mean, Iâm so happy to see you!â I find myself choking out those words.
âIâm so happy to see you too! The boys wanted to do some shows and I couldnât stop myself from asking to do one here! I missed this place so much.â I looked over his shoulder at his band mates. They suspiciously looked at us with satisfied grins on their face. One of them, with dark shoulder length hair walked towards us.
âYou must be Y/N! Deaky here talked about you a lot! Iâm Freddie.â He extended his hand for me to shake, which I took gladly. âYouâre welcomed to stay here with us and catch up with your dear boyfrie- Ow!â He didnât have the chance to finish his sentence, because John elbowed him in the ribs.
âOkay Fred, I think you can go sit with the boys, I actually have to talk to Y/N if thatâs alright.â He turned to me, asking if it was alright.
âSure!â I said.
âI meant- outside.â He added shyly.
âOh! Yes, alright letâs go.â I walked out the nearest door, which I assumed lead outside.
I sat down on some stairs, and the boy beside me did the same. We stayed in comfortable silence for some time before he let out: âI missed you.â
âI missed you too. Itâs been what? Two years?â I said softly.
âMyes, two years.â He nodded.
âYou stopped writing to me, calling too.â I added.
âI really tried, Y/N, but it was hard to find the time with the band-â
âSo thatâs what you do now?â I scoffed.
âDo what?â
âPlay in a band?â When he left, it was to study electrical engineering. Knowing he didnât even end up doing that made me feel like I had lost him for nothing.
âIâm happy.â he simply said.
âGood for you.â
Silence.
âYou know I loved you, right?â He said after some time.
âYes, I loved you tooâŚâ
âNo, you donât get it. I LOVED loved you.â He looked away, as if he was ashamed of what he was about to say.
âLike I said, I LOVED loved you too. It broke my heart when you left, because I wasnât just letting my best friend go, no, you were more to me.â I admitted.
âOhâŚâ
âIt doesnât matter now though does it? Itâs all in the past. Right?â I let out, trying to keep in my anger.
He didnât say anything.
âRight?â I asked again.
âY/N, IâŚI know itâs been some time, I know weâre older now, but to me youâre still the same little Y/N Iâve come to love. I tried to forget about my stupid crush on you and I honestly thought I did forget about it but as soon as I laid eyes on you tonight, it all came back rushing on me.â
I stared at him. Oh how I loved him. I loved him with all my heart. I never wanted to let him go. What I did next was insanely stupid. I donât know what went through my head, but I couldnât stop myself.
I kissed him.
It was quick, just a small peck. As soon as I pulled back, I blinked a couple of times, trying to process what just happened. He did the same but then he leaned back in, cradling my cheek softly and planting a much more soft kiss on my lips.
I didnât want to let go. I wanted to stay like that forever, with him. Unfortunately, we had to pull back to take a breath. When I looked up at him, he was already staring at me, a small smile across his face.
âCome with meâ he said.
âWhat?â
âCome to London with me, move with me please Y/N-â he got up to his feet but I cut him off.
âDeaks, I canât. You know I canât leave my life here behind!â
âPlease, I beg of you, I canât lose you again!â
âIâŚalrightâ I give up, I donât know what Iâm fighting for anymore. I love him. Iâll be happy with him, whenever Iâm with him, I know Iâll be happy, in the countryside or in the city. âIâll come with you.â
âReally? Thatâs amazing!â He picks my up and lifts me off my feet. âI love you so much.â
âI love you more.â I smile.
âThatâs not possible!â
âThen I love you just as much as you love me!â I laugh.
âThatâs a whole lot then.â
âGoodâ
